Not true. Stop listening to Beck.
The debt was 10.6 trillion when Obama took over in 2009, and is now 14.1 trillion.. that is in NO WAY a tripling.
And if we go by budget years, then the debt under Obama budgets is gone from 11.8 trillion to 14.1 trillion.
Now if you are looking for a tripling.. look at Reagan
Bush took it for 5 trillion to almost 11 trillion.. that is a doubling.
Like it or not, your comment is utterly false.
Not true. Stop listening to media matters and NPR.
When Obama took office, there was a 400 billion dollar deficit. Now there is a 1.4 trillion dollar deficit. He didn't triple the debt, he tripled the deficit. And considering the last 2 years Bush budgets were passed by a democratically controlled congress, you can't blame Bush for those.

When the Democrats regained control of Congress on January 4, 2007, the national debt was $8.67 trillion.
It's now over 14 trillion. So nearly doubling the debt in 4 years. Good job, dems!
