Then it seems like American exceptualism hasn't really ever been achieved... it sounds more like a ideal standard, something that may or may not work, who knows, but if you can never achieve something then it would seem unattainable. Our own political climate is in the way, so the American way kind of undermines itself by this definition..
This is the liberal mind set. They belive in CUBA'S exceptualism, not ours. Sad ain't it?
