Seriously, who gives a crap? These types of arguments are so silly.

I don't think it was threats, and I can actually relate to this first hand. I held my last job for 18 years. In the last year, the company was bought out, and it took the new owner less than a year to run it into the ground. As I went out the door, after a huge fight with him, I told him that he was f---ing dead. Of course, I meant his future. He took it that way too.

I am surprised that so many people are actually reading into this something that just isn't there, as this was not a death threat. It was an observation that this agenda, and her political future, were dead. It's very simple.

As for the hookers, he should be strung up for that. He's a creep, and I believe that, if people want to discredit him, this is more than enough. He more than deserves to be defeated in the next election.

Exactly, what does any possible answer to this question have to do with any real and important issue? None.

The problem with a statement like "You're ****ing dead" is that it can be interpreted a few different ways, all of which should be taken seriously. Especially given the recent shooting of a Congresswoman, and the uproar this caused about violent rhetoric being used.
“I think if Thomas Jefferson were looking down, the author of the Bill of Rights, on what’s being proposed here, he’d agree with it. He would agree that the First Amendment cannot be absolute.” - Chuck Schumer (D). Yet, Madison and Mason wrote the Bill of Rights, according to Sheila Jackson Lee, 400 years ago. Yup, it's a fact.

    Yes. For uttering death threats.

I don't think anyone should put in jail without going through the criminal justice system. I don't accept what has been said as to what he said unless they swear to tell the truth in a court of law. Then and only then should punishment be meted out That's the American way...
He ALREADY ADMITTED IT. You don't have to accept it. Facts are facts. He uttered a death threat now he should suffer the consequences.
I refuse to accept the view that mankind is so tragically bound to the starless midnight of racism and war that the bright daybreak of peace and brotherhood can never become a reality. - MLK

I disagree that any criminal action should be taken, but he should recieve a serious public repremand from his fellow party members...which hasn't happened, yet.

Hmm... if a regular joe did this, he'd not get off so light. Why is it that the laws do not apply equally to elected members of society, but they do on non-elected members? I just don't get it.

    what time is the hanging?

There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.... John Rogers

The best resolution for this is for the two individuals involved to work it out among themselves to the point where they are both satisfied with the result. Watching an interview with the lady who was threatened on fox at the dentist office this morning, it seems that has more or less been done and she does not feel physically threatened in any way.

As far as I am concerned, if the lady who was threatened is happy, than the case is closed.
