So where did he go wrong in his analysis haymarket? It was pretty much spot on. You see, unless you can dispute his points, you are merely attacking for the purpose of attacking. I realize that this is what the leftwaffe does (attack the person and not the facts), but give it a shot, just once.
1. He starts out by saying private sector employers set the wages but not so for government sector. This is of course ridiculous. The government is the employer, the government sets the wages. The employer set the wages in the government sector. It's basic logic. Whether the wages is fair or not doesn't change the fact that it is set by the government who is the employer.
But also problematic is that he doesn't seem to realise that there are plenty of private sector unions: Actors, Director, Construction workers, Truckers.
2. He claims that public sector employees have wage, benefits, pension, job security that are better than private sector employees, other than the job security part, the rest is not true.
There's a thread discussing that right now, with a few poster providing evidence to the contrary but none that supports Limbaugh's claim.
Related to this claim, he says that there are no competition. This is vague and I believe it's meant to be so. But either way it is wrong. There are competition for public workers. Teachers can work in private or public schools. Or maybe he means there are no competition among workers. Again, untrue. Government employers can choose among a pool of workers.
3. He claims that Elected Democrats reward and shield the unions. Well, it's easy for him to make claims which he doesn't feel the need to provide supporting evidence for. Would you like to show us some cases of how Democrats reward and shield unions in Limbaugh's state, so we can understand how this make unions and the Democrats despicable?
On its face, this claim is also dumb on other levels:
- This is a democracy, people have a right to lobby their representatives for their own interest, and the representatives have an obligation to represent the interest of their constituents, whether that be in the form of unions or business lobbies.
- Republicans have supports from unions too, not just Democrats.

4. He goes on about the Evil Democrats destroying schools, bankrupting states, and causing people to lose their jobs and home . I don't think I need to refute this to anyone with a shred of common sense.
5. He said Democrats cause the government to balloon. The government sector ballooned under a two term Republican President, and the Republicans controlled Congress too during that first term. Government sector employment started to fall during the Obama term (though granted it's not because he wanted to shrink the government).
6. He berates Democrats when they use tactics to avoid a vote they can't win, but forgets about Republicans shenanigans to avoid voting on the healthcare bill. Well, maybe this is due to his drug habits. We know drugs can affect memory.
7. He seems to have a problem with equating Walker to Hitler. I seem to remember a lot of reference to the Nazis during the healthcare debate.

That's an impressive amount of falsehood and fallacy for a video that lasts less than 2 minutes.
