The teachers should be fired whether or not any note is used for dereliction of their job. Hoax and union are synonymous. This isn't a party issue.

I am not sure if their contract allows teachers to participate in something like this. If not yes they should be fired. Good luck getting anyone to come to Wisconsin to be teachers.

Each state is different in its laws and each school district is different in its contract. I suspect that as long as the teachers had days in their sick bank to take - and there is no official procedure on limiting them via a doctors visit or note - that there is nothing that can be legally done...... nor should it if a person has the time banked and has earned it.
 
How many of you need a physician's note for missing a single day of work? This whole thing sounds as bogus as the infamous backward "B" on the young lady's face.

I don't see anyone lining up. How many of those fake notes did they pass out, anyway? I think you are the victim of a hoax. Two people dressed up in doctors coats passing out excuses? Too bizarre.

Where'd you get that idea? proof please. Everyone seemed like real doctors to me. Just doing their good deeds for the unions. And too me, it looks like they weren't doing anything illegal, just sleazy to use loop-holes in the contracts.

There is just as much proof that they were real as there was the whole thing was a hoax. Can you prove they were real? How many notes were passed out? Just the ones caught on camera?
 
I'm going to wait till the notes are handed in to the schools just like I'm waiting for the kidnapping charges.

Now, here in this video, probably is a republican acting like a teacher who needs a doctor's excuse. The doctor seems real and just wanting to do his part to help union workers.

Can you imagine the outrage people must feel at protests before we all became ******s and decided we needed doctors notes to engage in political action? Those lazy and despicable black people! Missing work so they could march to Selma! Those lazy and despicable students! Missing class to go and protest the Vietnam war! Those lazy women! Going outside the home so they could protest societal sexism! Of all the things Conservatives have tried in order to attack the very American action of political protest, this is quite possibly the stupidest.

When Obama was holding rallies.. they complained cause they only had 30,000 and not 50,000.

Now they're mad cause people were getting doctor's notes to go and protest.

That all depends on their contract. They may get personal days off without any excuse needed. My compny gives 5 of those a year. If so it isn't fraud at all.

Another woman, who wished to remain anonymous, said they were handing out excuses like they were leaflets.

“I asked if they were handing out doctors’ excuses and a guy said yes and asked me if I needed one,” she said. “When I told them I needed one for February 16 and 17th, he wondered if I wanted to come back here for the protests next week.”

It is a conundrum. Are the students suffering being absent from poor education or are they benefiting? As to the last point teacher's unions love teacher's unions. It doesn't have anything to do with better education or children. Get real!
