Planned Parenthood and the Sentor from James town makes a good point

Or, we can slap these welfare queens in the face with a big dose of reality and shock them into the real world, with the rest of us.

As with planned parenthood, the difference can be made up through private donations. I'm sure all the bleeding hearts that demand more taxes will be the first ones to cut a check to these orgs.

Instead of raising billions to get more Libbos elected, ya'll can raise billions to pay for the welfare class. You'll have lower taxes, so you'll be able to afford it, easier.

Isn't your whole life funded by tax payers?

If PP were to disappear tomorrow, federal monies would still fund abortions. Medicaid does it all the time it just isn't called "abortion".

Some posts are ridiculous. 97% of Planned Parenthood services are education, birth control, diagnosis and treatment of STD's, medical examinations and medical referrals. Only 3% of their services include abortion, and (as mentioned in the OP's link) no federal money is used by PP for abortion services because the damned Hyde Amendment makes it illegal to do so.

I get so sick of the lies being told every time the word "abortion" pops up in a thread. Grates on my last nerve.

Alternative: Planned Parenthood drops abortion from their list of services and keeps government funding. After all, if its only 3% it can't be that fundamental to their total operations....

Or they simply keep everything the way that it was. It's bullcrap that they stop funding PP just because some people don't like the fact that part of thier operation is performing a few abortions. It is even more so when the fact of the matter is that none of the federal aid money that went to PP went towards ANY of the abortions. None. Notta. Zilch. Zero.

It's fundamental to their principle. Hillary Clinton has it right: Abortion should be legal, safe and rare. That it's 3% of their work means they are doing a good job of making it rarer.

Did Hillary actually say that? If so I'm impressed. It's a good saying.
