This is inspiring if you are excited about how and why the events in Egypt unfolded as they did. Wael Ghonim is the Google Head of Marketing for the Middle East and North Africa. He ran the We are all Khaled Said Facebook group as its Admin prior to the Jan 25th protests. The protest was informally organized through this site (in addition to the viral video by Asmaa Mahfouz). Here's to the power of Facebook to transform the political landscape, especially in a controlled information environment like Egypt.

There are real gems in here, although the narrative is a bit scattered. Wael has gone without sleep for 48 hours prior and had just been released from the Security Services by the Minister of the Interior.
