Keith Olbermann to Announce Post-MSNBC Plans Tuesday

Any serious news organization would have nothing to do with him, so I suspect he will start his own web site and say he's writing a book on his "ruminations" and "deep soliloquies". Maybe he'll finally come out as queer and announce his plans for a sex change.

I'd like to see him try his hand at talk radio.

that would be a possibility, i'm thinking he will write a book, take some extended time off.

Olberman is officially a loser.

Probably this. As long as he stays away from ESPN I could careless what he does though.

Olbermann Said to Be Going to Current TV
By BILL CARTER AND BRIAN STELTER
Keith Olbermann, the former top-rated host of “Countdown” on the news channel MSNBC, will announce his next television home on Tuesday, and people familiar with his plans pointed Monday to a possible deal with the public affairs channel Current TV.

Neither Mr. Olbermann, his representatives, or executives from Current TV would comment on the move, but they did not deny that the channel, which counts former Vice President Al Gore as one of its founders, will become at least one partner in Mr. Olbermann’s future media plans.

One of the people with knowledge of the plans said Mr. Olbermann would have an equity stake in Current TV. The people insisted on anonymity because they were not authorized by their employers to comment in advance of the official announcement.

Olberman on gorevision?

ROFL

thank god, at least he won't be on espn

he sucked even more as a jocksniffer than a leftwing political talking head

never have been a big fan of his, definitely did not like him on espn.

Hopefully he'll shut up.

If you don't watch him, why the hell do you care?

I don't watch Glenn Beck either but I don't think you would have a problem with me hoping he shuts up. There both the same, and do nothing to help educate this country on political issues of the day.

Current TV? What's that?

Ahh, the Larry Craig Defense.

Olbermann is a RETARD, he might have been okay as a sports nut I don't' know I never heard of him until he was making up lies on MSNBC. He's A REAL loser in my book.

Do you know how hurtful the R word is?

Anyways I hope Keith gets a job with ESPN or maybe WWE:2razz:

BAh, I rarely watched Olbermann (only when husby made me) but his rabid, off-the-wall style made liberals look like a bunch of rabid dogs. The only thing I ever enjoyed about him was seeing him roast O'Reilly on his own petard. Seriously, I belief liberals should have a media voice, just as conservatives have a media voice. But they need someone who comes off as reasoned and reasonable, who doesn't spit on the cameras during tirades, and someone whose own staff doesn't draw straws to see who gets to poison his coffee that day.

Olbermann has garnered a well-earned reputation as a short-tempered, mean-spirited, narcissistic diva who leaves backstage personnel in wreckage and has serious anger-management issues. MSNBC is better off rid of him, and since he doesn't play well with others, his next gig should be a solo slot far away from other human beings.

I don't know what that is but I'll tune in! Keith Olbermann is one of the most intellectually stimulating and entertaining personalities today; I've been missing his insight and wit lately.

Now, you can get your global warming talking points from his new show on climate change TV.

You wish that we, ESPN fans, have to suffer again because of Keith isn't well received. Our revolt if this were to happen would make Egypt look like a tea party.

I'd like to see him try his hand at talk radio.

He will go nuclear on talk radio. He's unhinged as it is with a script. Can you imagine a callers taking him on repeatedly? He'll lose what's left of his deeply disturbed mind.
