"We have three branches of Government, we have a House, a Senate and a President"

And no, in the video, he doesn't correct himself.

Yeah - when I read this as a six inch headline screaming a the top of my local paper it clarified instantly why the mobs were in the street waving around copies of American Government 101. ;)

Roberts needs to walk across the street and sock him right in the nose, and say "Here's your fourth branch, mutha****a!"

Wow, I'd love to see the video of his staffers pulling him to the side after that and telling him wrong he was, lol. Hopefully it was just him not thinking correctly and he actually does realize there's a court system, lol.

Schumer should be selling linoleum and $50 sofas to fat Queens hausfraus. He's a corned beef simpleton.

I'm Surpraise he didn't say Pelosi, Reid, and Obama.

I'd imagine this thread would be all afire with "End of career" and "Stupid moron, how can people support.."

If this had been Palin not Schumer.

You've barely heard a word. It would have led MSNBC for a week solid if it were a Republican.

Yes... but if we send too many troops to those three branches, will the government flip over and drown everyone?

There's a big difference between making a slip up or getting something wrong now and then and doing so constantly. You can't deny that. What he said was stupid. Most politicians have said stupid things, regardless of political ideology. Palin resides on the upper end of the spectrum. It's not the left's fault that she furthered that stereotype for herself by bombing every interview during the election where the host wasn't either Sean Hannity or Glenn Beck.

This goes to the intelligence we have to deal with from the Liberal nut jobs starting at the top, after all Obama said he had campaigned in 57 States.

No surprise that Schumer just sort of overlooked the Judicial Branch.

By the way the are "57" Islamic states. Coincidence? I think not but then Obama hasn't yet been to all of them on his continuing appeasement tours.

Brilliance at work on the Left.

Guy who brings up the SEKRET MUSLIM conspiracy talks about brilliance.

By the way, there are more than 57 Islamic states if you're going by the OIC, and there are less than 57 if you're going by states with a majority muslim population.

That Stephanopolous interview.....wow, it still bugs me. Very odd slip of the tongue, don'cha think?

The "my Muslim faith" "slip?"
Wasn't a slip. Obama was saying that the McCain campaign wasn't calling him a Muslim.

Let’s not play games. What I was suggesting — you’re absolutely right that John McCain has not talked about my Muslim faith. And you’re absolutely right that that has not come–

STEPHANOPOULOS: Christian faith.

OBAMA: — my Christian faith. Well, what I’m saying is that he hasn’t suggested–

STEPHANOPOULOS: Has connections, right.

OBAMA: — that I’m a Muslim. And I think that his campaign’s upper echelons have not, either.

Similarly, the 57 states deal is easily explained if you know the background. Obama had visited 47 states and mentioned "one left to go." (the campaign trail had him going to all 48 contiguous) Obama was clearly exhausted and his brain mashed in the word fifty instead of forty.

It's only a "freudian muslim slip" if you're bending the definition of "Islamic state" rather conveniently.

I think you might get a kick of this if you think Palin is the idiot. (Thanks Sandokan)

There should be a very basic Government test given to people who wish to run for public office. If someone doesn't have a simple grasp on how our government works, they should not be allowed to hold public office.

Interesting that violence is part of your point.

Oh, goddammit, I am sick and tired of my elected officials embarrassing me, especially when I didn't vote for them.

First Hillary, and now Chuck. :doh

Thanks for making the rest of us look like ignorant douches, you jerk.
