She'll host the 5th hour of the Glenn Beck program online. I love her. :)

Cupp rocks!

Glenn interviewed her today on his show. Turns out she loves to hunt and fishes up in Alaska every fall. So her show is going to be politics, but with a touch of the outdoors mixed in.

I'd like to love her... love her til she couldn't walk :ninja:

You are just trying to get me in trouble. I am going to go sulk at about all the jokes I can't make.

S.E. Cupp? She looks more like a B.E. Cupp.

(sorry, someone had to say it)

Beck fails again. He should have her do the television show.

Radio is for the ugly people.

Also turns out she's an atheist.

A moron and an atheist talking down to evangelicals... Only in American.

I meant to write Mormon and an atheist.... makes more sense. Sort of.

Obviously. :)

Wow. Beck gives out four hours of radio/tv daily and you pay money for an extra two hours?

If I ever pay money to listen to more punditry please lock me up with a straight jacket.

Technically you pay to hear your elected officials speak publicly, I mean on January 29th(?) you even had a paid SOTU punditry session. :)

idk, I'm pretty sure the state of the union was broadcast on the network channels which are free and on radio which is free. If you mean that tax dollars were spent I get what you're saying but that's not punditry. If you mean I pay for msnbc and fox through cable subscriptions then I would argue that I'm paying for the channels on cable that I like. Not the channels that I hardly watch.

You pay for NPR and PBS. Do you agree with conservatives that they shouldn't get taxpayer money? :)

in Beck's case, Moron is more correct...a lot of Mormons are embarrassed about him...

I was (tongue in cheek most firmly) referring to the fact that all public officails and employees draw their pay from our tax dollars we pay for them to do anything including speaking, much in the same way we pay for products from companies that pay for commercials that pay the pundits.

The SOTU speech, as is any political speech, is most assuredly punditry. It is one persons view of current state and a proposal for a future state, low on the nitty gritty of how one moves from now to then.

Yes, I do agree with that, though they don't get nearly as much taxpayer money as conservatives think and beside the fact that that isn't what I'm talking about.

I'm not handing a check over to NPR because I love them so much and can't live without the extra two hours I would receive. They get some small pittance from tax dollars that I pay and I have no say in paying. Big difference that your trying hard to stretch into something it isn't.

I understand, but I was talking about people that actually pay pundits directly in order to hear them blabber on even longer then they do. Honestly, anyone that listens to Glenn beck for 6 hours a day, or any liberal commentator I can think of, needs their head examined.

You're right. There is a large difference. One you have the freedom to pay for if you want it and the other you're forced by law to pay for. I'm glad you agree that they shouldn't get any taxpayer money.

Actually I don't pay to listen to Glenn. I can hear him for free on my local radio station. I'm listening to him right now! And he's only on the radio for 3 hours a day, not 6.

I enjoy listening to conservative talk radio as others might enjoy a certain style of music or television show. To each his/her own. :)

It also doesn't hurt that Glenn, Pat and Stu can be hilarious.
It's nice to see SE staying busy. Glenn made a good choice but I have to wonder if she'll now become a target for Media Matters, Huffpo etc.
