Best and worst cities for jobs

In November, the month for which the most recent data is available, 180 metropolitan areas saw increases in nonfarm payroll employment, compared to the year before. Slightly fewer metro areas (176) saw an employment decrease during the same period. This informationís good to know for anyone who wants to stay current on the economic health of their city. For job seekers, however, these figures are important because they can help you decide if relocating is something to consider.
Figure this may interest some of you.

Ya there's lots of jobs available here in the DC area. Basically anyone with a college degree can have multiple job offers within just a couple weeks of looking. If anyone is looking for a new job, the DC area is great. I'm surprised to see Boston and Phoenix doing so well...I thought they were both hit pretty hard by the recession.

    No Austin? No Research Triangle?

Anyone think it's surprising that all the towns on the decreasing states are all big liberal states, what a joke.

This article is an example of blatant stupidity and intellectual fraud of the worst sort.

Answer me this chevy - which twenty-five cities in America employ the most people inside their city limits? That tells you which cities are the best for jobs - IF THAT IS WHAT WE ARE REALLY TALKING ABOUT. Screw this nonsense about increase and decrease. New York City employs more people .... has more actual jobs - than any ten up and comers in Buttville. But of course its not what you are really talking about.

You are looking for an excuse to bash liberals whom you hate.

Take it up with Career Builder, they are the ones who wrote the article. In my years of following politics, I have never seen Career Builder take a public political stand on issues, if you have feel free to post it.

I dont agree or disagree with the article, nor did I make such statement. Some on this forum follow the jobs market, I merly posted it for research purposes.

In case you havent figured it out already, I openly hate economic liberals, social conservatives, religious conservatives, pat buchanan conservatives, neoconservatives, and every other ideology who supports/makes accuses for government thuggery, theft and murder. Hopefully I cleared that up for you.

Actually, Chevy is not looking for an excuse to bash Liberals. New York may have more actual jobs available, but it also has many more people, and a great percentage of those is unemployed. On the other hand, let's say if Buttville has a population of 100 and ONLY ONE job opening appears, then it has already beaten New York in the percentage decrease of unemployment, and that would be a much more honest assessment than the one you are attempting to shovel at the rest of us.

Most cities are liberal. Same with the growth as well.

There are more jobs in New York City than any other city in America.

Government jobs don't create wealth. They process wealth.

Notice the beating the Blue state of California is taking. This is a direct consequence of leftist governance.
