Keith Olbermann announces tonight's Countdown as his last show!

Let's brainstorm what Keith's next job will be........

McDonald's?

KO has $15 million due to him on the balance of his contract. He could buy and sell most folks here and still enjoy a great life style. And he does not have to lie about his wealth the way some do.

sorry but I save such whimpering for Republicans like the Boner. My reaction is to redouble my efforts against the creeping corporate fascism that is using folks like you to take over this land.
Be afraid. Be very afraid. Bwahahahaha

The power of right wing corporatism strikes again. And all the little right wing toadies can now be content that the guy the said nobody watched or listened to has been silenced. But they want it both ways. They will celebrate and gloat but still insist nobody viewed him and he was no threat. Even in their revelry they wallow in their hypocrisy.

KO had two years to go on a contract that would pay him $7.5 million for each year.

You want Fairness doctrine?

He should give all of that money to the government since he's for massive spending. :)

My personal message to Keith....

"You're FIRED! Get them to print you a t-shirt that says "FIRED" on it!"

In just three pages right here, we have one right winger creaming their jeans hoping its Rachel Maddow who next gets the axe while another fantasizes that it should be Chris Matthews who is silenced.

You show your true colors and what you feel about freedom and dissent.

Oh, haymarket. You know you'd be doing the EXACT SAME THING if it was Glenn Beck that was off the air.

Lets see if I get the chance to prove you right or wrong.

.....says the guy who has no less than the entire mainstream media on his side of the political divide.

Did you really? How could you stand it?

I watch/listen to all the talking heads on MSNBC.
I feel it's my duty to keep at least an ear on them. You know the saying...
keep your friends close and your enemies closer.
Oh well, with Keith gone, I can probably cut back some on my blood pressure meds. :)
Hmmm.. I wonder who will relace him?

One less mindless idiot on tv. Too bad all of them aren't following his lead.

So was Jack the Ripper.

Well that is a first comparison for me to see.

I completely agree. I wish more political pundits would follow his lead. We could make a 24 hour pundit channel where they can all talk and be political pundits together and leave news channels to you news. Or even better 24 hour news stations just disappear.

I love it... Wiki has already got it...lololol...

Countdown with Keith Olbermann was an hour-long weeknight news and political commentary program[2] on MSNBC which aired live at 8 p.m. Eastern Time and reran at 10 p.m., 1 a.m. and 4 a.m. on weekdays, other than Fridays, when there was typically no subsequent re-runs. The show was hosted by Keith Olbermann, from March 31, 2003 to January 21, 2011
