And you have the typical right wing view of what freedom is when you do not agree with its expression because it opposes your own partisanship and your own ideology. btw- you are wrong - KO is going to get paid to the tune of $15 million dollars by the network. That is the price they are paying for ignoring his contract which runs through 2011 and 2012.

They are NOT concerned with money. They are more concerned with silencing him to the millions who now hear him. Of course, now you will tell me that if KO just raises his voice on the corner and we all lean in the direction of NYCity that we can still listen to him and nobody has been silenced. And in your mind the cause of freedom has been served.

So, MSNBC is part of the vast, right-wing conspiracy to silence liberals? You're really losing it here...lol.

He can express his opinions all he wants. MSNBC will simply no longer pay him to do so. That they will pay out his contract doesn't change that fact.

The funny thing is that haymarket doesn't understand that he is basically defending Glenn Beck

So you think there is no relationship between Comcast taking over NBC and firing KO at the same time?

I always support the right of Glen Beck to be on the air. I have repeatedly said that I would put Beck on many more hours each day and run repeats of his show and urge ALL American to watch every day. Same thing with Limbaugh and Hannity and O'Rielly. I would like to take the four of them and put them on for two hours each day and then run two loops of that cycle all day.

So if he was fired you would think his first amendment rights were violated?

Ok... so it's not that his rights have been stripped... now we're switching tacs to 'the new owners fired him'. got it.

And while thus far there is no specific evidence that Comcast had a direct hand in this development there no almost no question that Comcast provided some sort of support to NBC to end Olbermann’s contract,
Hay's next frantic directional change will be?????

You do know that Rush doesn't even have a TV show, don't you?
