Hawaii governor can't find Obama birth certificate

This whole thing is so silly.

I am sitting in my home office. Within arms reach is a two drawer file cabinet. In the bottom drawer I have a file that contains legal copies of my birth certificate, SSN, and every other important personal document. They are documents I HAVE to produce on a regular basis. If I ever ran for public office I can produce it easily (even though I would have to publically admit that I was born in California). That they havent put this thing to bed and that democrats and the media continue to make a big deal of it (yes...democrats. Why do we keep talking about this? Because liberal media brings it up to then scoff at 'birthers'. and because a democrat governor once again brought it up) means a couple of possible things...he is as suggested Kenyan born and was issued a certificate of live birth by his mothers residential state, or he was born in Hawaii and they refuse to produce the birth certificate so that they can occasionally bring it up and divert attention from real world problems.

Anyone that isnt named Barrack Hussein Obama and pretends to 'know' what the truth is is quite simply full of **** and spewing an opinion based on what fits their political viewpoint.

Bingo!! The Obama supporters will do anything to divert from the results they have generated

or he was born in Hawaii and they refuse to produce the birth certificate so that they can occasionally bring it up and divert attention from real world problems.

Except, that's exactly what Serenity is saying, here,

what i said was...

the evidence of Obama's birth in Hawaii is overwhelming. what logical reason is there for anyone to continually refuse to accept factual evidence that Obama is a natural born citizen of the US?

what is it that they are really upset about? what is so different about Obama compared to previous Presidents that we've had? Is it his ancestry that gets to them? is it the fact that his mom is Kansan, his dad is Kenyan and Obama is African American?

is it that it's more pleasant for them to say they don't like someone because they are not a citizen of the United States, than it is to admit that you hate someone because you are a racist?

unless i'm missing something, there is no other explanation that makes any sense. if anyone here sees it any differently, then feel free to explain what other explanation could there be?

and of course i'm not saying it is racist to question something about the President. what i am saying, is that when you have overwhelming evidence about something, what logical reason is there to keep saying otherwise?

so if race is not the issue, what is it?

you've already tried to use the lame excuse that anyone disagreeing with obama will be called a racist. i disagree with plenty of his policies and that doesn't make me a racist.

you've had plenty to say on the issue so far so how about you answer the question i'm asking.

what logical reason is there for anyone to continually refuse to accept factual evidence that Obama is a natural born citizen of the US?

if race isn't the issue, what is it?

It's Abercombie trying to make a name for himself by taking up the mantle of defending Obama and personally, taking on the "birthers". Otherwise, whatever the birthers issues were... they were waning. Regarding the birthers and "what is it", it's partisanship - same we saw with McCain and the challenges to his right to run for President.

Thank you for confirming what I said, earlier. 'preciate'cha!

Personally, I would like to see us talking about how Barack sr. was porking Ann when she was 17 y/o.

But, McCain is white. That's different.

you're thanking me for confirming that you still couldn't answer the question of "what is it", that i have asked you numerous times?

you're welcome.

You asking the question confirms what I've been saying. Especially, since you haven't figured out that this thread isn't even about Obama.

According to the ABCNews article (also see linked article in ludahai's post #118), the Hawaii State Attorney General, David Louie...

... told the governor (Ambercrombie) that privacy laws bar him from disclosing an individual's birth documentation without the person's consent. There is nothing more that Gov. Abercrombie can do within the law to produce a document.

For those interested, information covering Hawaii state law concerning distribution and access to vital records, as well as the content of index record pertaining to Pres. Obama's birth, can be found here.

So, I guess in a way the birthers/truther/pundits are back to square one. But the good news here is it's one more piece of evidence that supports Pres. Obama's U.S. NBC citizen.

1. Two birth announcements in local paper.

2. Certificate of Live Birth (w/o "explanatory clauses", i.e., delayed birth, out of state birth, orphan, etc.)

3. Index data listing his birth in Hawaii state public health vital records log.

I really don't know how much more proof anyone needs. I mean, if his name wasn't listed in the archieves per the index data, that would be one thing. But it's there. I say stop the madness already.

No one gives a **** about Obama's citizenship. So, stop preaching to the choir.

But, Abercrombie's stupidity still remains intact.

Then why did you start this thread?

Among your first couple of posts...

So, do you have a source that proves Abercrombie did locate Obama's BC? Would love to see it...thaaaaaaaaaaaaanks!

Abercrombie set out to find Obama's long form, because he knows that the BC that has been presented doesn't really prove anything; he can't find it and there's nothing to discuss?

I think you're all just worried, is all.

I don't care where Obama was born. I'm only pointing out Abercrombie's stupidity and how this little venture is going to give credibility to the birfers.

I mean, is the issue Amberbrombie's foolhearty and frutile search or is it that in your opinion his search really didn't turn up anything new?

First, is Abercrombies stupid ass idea to put to bed, the idea that Obama isn't a natural born citizen.

Second, is Abercrombie's embarressing failure, to put to bed, the idea that Obama isn't a natural born citizen.

Third--and most hillarious--the birfer movement was quietly going away, before Abercrombie injected new life into it.

Unintended conciquences are the scurge of Liberalism's ass. I guess that know-it-all, smarter-than-the-swinish-masses superiority complex isn't all it's cracked up to be.

1. Birth announcements are not legal documents and can be placed in the newspapers by anyone. Even a grandfather who want a son so bad that he gave his daughter a boy's name.

2. The state of Hawaii has refused to confirm that the COLB that obama has presented cam from them.

3. The index data confirms that the state has a file on obama, but does not confirm that he was born there. They would still have a file on him if he was issued a 338-17.8 birth certificate.

4. At any one time, depending on who you ask, he was born at two different hospitals. Though, neither have a record of his birth.

5. His paternal grandmother said that she was present when he was born in her country.

6. His own wife of 17 years has called Kenya barack's "home country".

7. No one spends $1,300,000 in legal fees to hide something as innocuous as a birth certificate unless it's release would be disastrous.

Are you claiming Chris Matthews works from WND? Even he has been asking... WHY?

Why not "plug the damn hole"?
It's been a month since the Governor of HI has stated he would prove Obama was born in the US... where the hell is the proof? See CNN clip.

As for the governor's claims, memory studies reveal people piece together false histories. The deterioration of memory is pretty quick, and replacing memory with events that did not happen is not uncommon in the least... and this is a near half-century old bit of memory.

Just produce the damn certificate and get it over with. This should have been done when he announced, and every future candidate should have to produce his birth certificate. It's not some trivial exercise, it is part of the rules of the game when seeking the most powerful office in the world.

.

Zimmer.... You continued to make conservatives look bad. Now read and shut yur pie-hole! snopes.com: Barack Obama Birth Certificate

1. Birth announcements are not legal documents and can be placed in the newspapers by anyone. Even a grandfather who want a son so bad that he gave his daughter a boy's name.

I think we've established this already.

2. The state of Hawaii has refused to confirm that the COLB that obama has presented cam from them.

I'd suggest you go back to Factcheck.org and see the enlarged image of the reverse side of his COLB which has a notary stamp from the Hawaii State Department of Public Health and a raised seal. Looks authentic to me.

3. The index data confirms that the state has a file on obama, but does not confirm that he was born there. They would still have a file on him if he was issued a 338-17.8 birth certificate.

Per Hawaii Public Health Records rules, Chapter 8A & 8B, respectively, if Pres. Obama was either foreign born or his birth was recorded within 30-days but not more than 1-year, his birth certificate would indicate such with the proper notation. If foreign born, he'd have the following statement affixed to his COLB:

"This certificate is not evidence United States citizenship for the child or parents named above."

If a delayed birth registration, his COLB would have a notation affixed to it explaning the reason for the delay. There doesn't appear to be such a notation on Pres. Obama's COLB.

4. At any one time, depending on who you ask, he was born at two different hospitals. Though, neither have a record of his birth.

Can't help you there...though 24 years later the military hospital where my daughter was born can't find her birth records either. They referred us to the state Department of Public Health where we were able to obtain a copy of her birth certificate. I fail to see this as conclusive evidence that no birth record for the President exists considering my daughter's personal experience is nearly identical.

5. His paternal grandmother said that she was present when he was born in her country.

This story has long be debunked; it was his step-grandmother on his father's side. The translator corrected this error on the spot. Yet, the false information continues... (See full transcript of the conversation, specifically page 19 where the error is corrected by the translator.)

6. His own wife of 17 years has called Kenya barack's "home country".

Well, considering that Kenya is the place of his ancestory roots by virtue of his biological father having been born there, I don't find the First Lady's comment that unusual at all.

7. No one spends $1,300,000 in legal fees to hide something as innocuous as a birth certificate unless it's release would be disastrous.

I'll just leave this last issue alone except to say we all have every right to keep our private lives private and not have every Tom, Dick and Harry probing needlessly.

Which number ho that he banged and ran was she again?

He didn't say not liking Obama makes you racist. He was implying being a birther means you're racist.

I tend to agree. There isn't a logical reason for the belief. Even partisanism can't account for it, if there had been a question about Clinton's legitimacy, and Clinton had shown the document that Obama has shown, people would have dropped it right there.

Why would that make anyone a racist? When people questioned whether McCain was a citizan or not, was that racist?

Seems to me, those who constantly have the color of Obama's skin on the brain, might be the racists. No one else seems to care what color he is.

No one was questioning the origins or validity of his birth either.

So, when you have prove of a birth announcement in two local news papers published within days of his birth, at least one witness stating the she knew the Durbins and was present when Pres. Obama was a infant, a valid birth document (Certificate of Live Birth) that has been verified by the State of Hawaii, it's Governor, it's public health official, the Democrat National Committee, Congress and the Electoral College and people are still questioning the man's birth, what other reasonable explanation is there?
Is anyone questioning he was an infant in Hawaii? Why wouldn't there be birth announcements when the certificate of live birth was issued?
