Unless he is COURT ORDERED to release it - showing us the certificate is NOT Abercrombie's decision, call or right.

That is Obama's PERSONAL business and only with his PERMISSION can it be shown.

So "it's in an archive" is EXACTLY where a certificate should be - it should not be unfiled and plastered over the world just because SOME people demand it.

He really just needs to keep quiet, refer to it as a matter to be decided by the courts, and state the fact that it's NOT HIS CALL.

It has happened before, but there is nothing to compare it to now.

all true, which makes Abercrombie a freakin retard for saying he could produce the document. which is, of course, the point we have been making all along.

Be that as it may, Abercrombie shot his mouth off about it and if he doesn't show, he's going to make himself and Obama look like dumb ****s. The birfers will be all ovr it. He didn't do anything but give them more ammo--oops, I said ammo.

I think the silly sum-bitch shoulda just left it alone. Since he's too stupid not to, I'm going to make fun of him.

    By me. I know.

AUSTAN GOOLSBEE: I think the world vests too much power, certainly in the president, probably in Washington in general for its influence on the economy, because most all of the economy has nothing to do with the government.

I think if Thomas Jefferson were looking down, the author of the Bill of Rights, on whats being proposed here, hed agree with it. He would agree that the First Amendment cannot be absolute. - Chuck Schumer (D). Yet, Madison and Mason wrote the Bill of Rights, according to Sheila Jackson Lee, 400 years ago. Yup, it's a fact.

Like I said, you'd have to inquire to the Hawaii Dept. of Public Health to find out.

    Yep.

It started when he tried to make it a personal venture - claiming to know the Obama family well, and going on about his emotional connection and how it's offensive to him that some people will question their say-so. . . and on and on.

Everything was fine until he stirred the pot.

Re: Hawaii governor can't find Obama birth certificate

I understand Ambercrombie's personal position here. He's right on both counts:

    1) The birth-right credibility of the son of a family friend who now happens to be the President of the United States is being dragged through the mud. He wants to do what he can now that he's governor of the state where the son was born to help clear his name. A noble jester, but as folks have already stated he probably should have just let this sleeping dog lay.

    2) He knows that if this matter isn't resolved before the run-up to the 2012 presidential primaries questions of the President's birth will just resurface in earnest.

But as I said in a previous post, those who really don't believe Pres. Obama was born here will never be satisfied no matter what evidence is provided that goes contrary to their doubts not even if they can see it, touch it, smell it, or even taste his actual vital records in hard copy form. No matter what, there will be those who still cry foul.

The way I see it, providing achieved information would be great, but ultimately this is an exercise in frutility. Whether Gov. Ambercrobie finds concrete evidence of Pres. Obama's birth and holds a nation press conference presenting said evidence or not won't change the mind of those who don't like Pres. Obama anyway.

As I've said several times before, until someone can provide solid proof that he wasn't born here, as far as I'm concerned he is eligible to be President of the United States of America. And yes, such evidence would likely include Gov. Ambercrombie coming out and saying that the records his predecessor had sealed are NOT valid documents. IMO, that would be the smoking gun! Unseal the records, tell us what's inside. A simple matter of his powers as Hawaii's new governor.

There's a lesson in this .... and it goes to the cliche of "let sleeping dogs lie".
