How many people would it take to tip one over?

I think people are overreacting just a tad. A lot of crazy **** can happen in those parking lots and it has happened in the past, from muggings and abductions to rapes. A little added security certainly couldn't hurt. While security cameras do help, it would be nice to have someone out there who could actually help you out if you needed it.

Not really surprising, look back to the East Coast blackout in 03' similar measures were taken by supermarkets.

Guess who would get sued if that someone who was supposed to help was unable to protect someone?

Or instead of guard towers, people could just stop shopping at wal-mart. I mean really, when your local wal-mart store, a store infamous for bad business practices no less, has to have a guard tower made to prevent civil disruption and violence, then it's time to go shopping at target instead.

But when you need a salt and pepper shaker set at 2AM, where are you supposed to go?

My Walmart has security cameras all over to deter shoplifting and other issues. If a stupid guard tower is what it takes to keep and eye on their property then I'd say that person's living in a ****ed up neighborhood and maybe they should shop elsewhere lest they become a statistic

I know - I lived in a neighborhood where countless people were murdered and robbed IN my Walmart parking-lot - which is part of the reason I moved the **** out.

But yet if someone was kidnapped or murdered in *that* parking-lot I'm certain everyone would be demanding they review *that* surveillance footage to catch the perpetrators.

Now - I wasn't about to watch a 10 minute video of someone's homemade 'omg!' concerning a non-issue such as this from the skewed source that is MSNBC. . .Is it even stationed in the US? If so - where? Along the southern border or near a very troubled area?

Has that particular store had serious issue to be concerned, lately, for it's overall condition and the safety of it's patrons?

BTW - a mobile unit instead of an affixed camera atop of every traffic light makes far more sense - and is likely, ergo, more affordable.

A screaming comes across the sky.
It has happened before, but there is nothing to compare it to now.

But hey - the 3rd video was hilarious
