Daily Fail is the worst of them all. It's literally a tabloid but people will link to them as a legitimate news source.

Equating the two is an exercise in lunacy. It is like comparing a mountain to an anthill and claiming that they both are similar.

    Google the following two phrases
    IA OBAMA AN AMERICAN

    GEORGE BUSH WEST AWOL

Now compare the number of articles for each.

I can save you the trouble - the Obama query registers 235,000,000 while the Bush query barely compares at less than one half of one percent of that at 110,000.

I know, I know... its a bitch when reality gets in the way of ideology.

One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.... John Rogers

well since the military prosecutes AWOL and and awards honorable discharges the fact that BUsh was given the latter pretty much establishes he was not guilty of the former. How much of the main stream press questioned Bush about AWOL before he won the election versus members of the MSM who questioned Obama's rather evasive dealings with where he was born?

THere are a bunch of "sources" of dubious value. You don't see me citing WDN or Newsmax. Then again I don't see you citing the Marxist Markos or the barking at the moon loonbirds at TruthOut either.

That is not the point and you darn well know it. You falsely equated the Obama birth ginned up controversy with the Bush AWOL story.
This is NOT a discussion about the merits of either but about the fact that there are nutjobs out there pushing this crap despite all evidence to the contrary.

YOU were the one who compared the two.

"evasive dealings"!?!?!?!? We have seen his official certificate of birth and the announcement in the Hawaii papers for heavens sake. Give it up man.

    1) as usual your desire to attack what I have said comes from misunderstanding the point I was making

    2) Official birth certificate? Okie Dokie

    3) I couldn't care less about the issue-there are many good reasons why Obama should not have been elected to worry about something like this.

Then why did YOU bring up the false comparison in the first place?

You may not want to tell junior that his teacher was just checkmated in three moves.
