Sarah Palin Is 'Virtually Unelectable' | The Atlantic Wire

PPP polled seven individual states and found that, in a contest between Palin and President Obama, she gets just 77 percent of the Republican vote. That's behind Gingrich, Romney, and Huckabee, despite her greater popularity. "Republicans may hate Barack Obama but there look to be a pretty meaningful percentage of them who don't hate him enough to vote to put Sarah Palin in the White House," Jensen writes. "When you combine that with her complete lack of appeal to Democrats and independents she looks virtually unelectable for 2012."

Good news.

Wow what a flair for the obvious:2razz:

That's what I am saying.
Palin is on track to become another Glenn Beck, not another PotUS. From her behavior, I think that she, (and/or her handlers), know this.

fellow progressive Democrats please keep this under your hat.... we do not want the GOP to know this.

The line should be RUN SARAH RUN.

caribou barbie has excellent political instincts
she can gin up the campaign donations via the teabaggers
causing her to be a true contender

while i think she is more about now converting her public image into personal wealth, than actually running for elected office, it would be premature to insist that her candidacy would be less than formidable
we only need to look at the boost her VP nomination gave to the flagging mccain 'the fundamentals of the economy are sound' campaign to witness that she has a loyal following
in the meantime, that young, liberal base Obama must retain to earn a second term is in rapid decline

Wait, can it be? Is this, no way, it can't be, nope, nope it is!!!

ANOTHER PALIN THREAD!!!!!!!

The best part about this thread, is the several folks bitching at the Good Reverend in the Obama thread, showing a complete 180 in this thread. You guys rock!

damn it, quit making it so obvious
at least feign the pretense that she could actually be a viable alternative

Or a Newt Gingrich, without the intellectual flair (not necessarily in a negative tone, but rather because her public stances are anti-elitist liberals.....which is typically something of an intellectual habit). She can really raise the profile of certain conservative voices to the public, and has the potential of getting them elected or appointed to certain offices.

Do we have a count on how many palin threads were started by Conservatives vs. how many were started by liberals or others? I'd bet money that fewer were started by conservatives... mostly because WE don't think she's nearly as important to the GOP as the liberals and others seem to think she is.

I did this a few months ago it was like 10-1 liberals.

Both leftist men and leftist women have a weird sexual fetish over Sarah Palin. Wet dreams, wet pants, how ineffably sad and creepy.

Are you jealous that she seems so popular, has been in public office, has run for a high office, has a tv show, is paid to speak all over the country? Based on your apparent fixation with her here, I'd say that's probably part of it.

Now there is a real grown up mature comment.

And you would personally know this because of what exactly? Have you been checking these "wet pants" personally? Now that is sad and creepy.

While I would like to hope that the American people in general have enough sense not to vote her in, I wouldn't hold my breath. There are other studies, polls, data, german gambling sites, etc that suggest she is very electable.

In Palin's case, it stands for Man, I'd Love to **** her...

No, that isn't what it stands for. You should watch more porn.

The funny thing is, if Palin wins, the ardent anti-Obama people here will consider him highly competent and intelligent compared to her.

Leverage/Financial recessions never get resolved quickly. I keep asking detractors for their views and 100% of the time, they flee like worthless cowards. I point out how various leaders in history from across the world all floundered when they had a financial crisis only to see that get ignored. The idea that Palin could actually deal with the aftermath of a leverage recession when the bright minds of past leaders couldn't is hysterical and shows just how stupid many of her supporters are.
