Why should they be given a pass? What is this supposed to be? The Russian KGB? If this keeps up for much longer, and they really start to piss off too many people; they'll become legitimate targets.

Aggressive? Yeah, maybe for terrorists.

Invasive? So....sitting around with nothing but a bra and panties on is less invasive than the TSA's techniques? Sorry, not buying it.

It is less invasive than being manhandled during a pat down the way they are currently doing patdowns. If in a bra and panty, what's left to be touched in anyway? It's sort of all out there, isn't it?

Of course sitting around in bra and panties is less invasive. She wasn't being gropped and felt up, which is well more invasive than staring. If you can't understand that, I'd hate to see what you're actually buying over there.

I have flown many times during this past year and not once have I seen the TSA pull someone out of line and molest them.

I have been through Huntsville, Dallas-Ft Worth, El Paso, Newark Liberty, Phoenix, Salt Lake City, Sacramento, Atlanta, Nashville, Boise. Is it just NY, DC, CHI and LAX where they molest you or what?

First understand that the new pat down techniques were only in effect for the last month-and-a-half [probably 12.5% of your year, assuming both that my calculations are correct and you do mean a literal year [12 months]].

OKLAHOMA CITY -- A woman in a wheelchair at Oklahoma City's Will Rogers World Airport tried to go through security wearing only a bra and panties.

John Maringouin was at the airport and posted a video on YouTube of the woman trying to get through security after she was pulled aside with her dog in her lap.

According to airport spokeswoman Karen Carney, 52-year-old Dr. Tammy Banovac arrived at the airport on Tuesday wearing a coat and was in a wheelchair. When she reached security, she took off the coat revealing her scantily clad figure.

Carney said Banovac wouldn't go through the metal detector, so she had to go through an advanced search that included a pat-down.

Banovac told airport screeners, she stripped down because of a bad screening experience, where she felt violated.

Maringouin, who shot the YouTube video at the airport, said Banovac seemed fed up.

"She thought it would be a great idea to bare all and go through like that," Maringouin said. "I felt like at the time I was the only one who noticed her. Everyone was trying to be polite and not be too lookey about it. Some people were gravitating away from her, noticeably, but I thought it was great. I thought it was the best thing I've seen at an airport. She's welcome to travel through any airport security with me anytime she wants."

Oh - that's just awesome. I love her attitude and approach to the situation.

I also love the look on her face. "Oh bother - another day in lingerie in line for a security check . . . nothing to fuss over" - so placid. Pure poker face.

OWS need to take note of how some means of protest can be worthwhile, positive and memorable - and others are just annoying and pointless.
 
I just don't go to the right airports...
 
This is the kind of protest I could get behind.

Believe it or not I was not tryimng to be critical. I went looking because I remembered the thread, and was going to laugh about how a thread with a video of a woman in her underwear got bumped by some pervy guy...then I saw it was you.

Do you think it could be because someone posted about it? On another thread, someone referenced this one and I came to it and looked at the OP and watched the video.

I did not look until you had bumped it, and my search was going back and looking when posts where dated this year.
 
Oh, and I forwarded this to the admins to see if they can see a bug that might have caused this.
