If they're not and they don't like it, then they should get off their asses and get a job that will make all cozy and comfortable.

that seems to be lost on more than a few posters. They think we have a duty to respect and help those who won't respect and help themselves.

its kind of what Jeffrey Snyder (A NATION OF COWARDS NOTED).

If you aren't willing to make your personal safety your most important individual responsibility why should some cop or rentaguard make your personal safety his most important duty?

Because it's so easy to get a job right now.

I was just reading an article about a woman who used to make six figures, lost her job and later her home, burnt through all of her savings, and is now selling her wedding ring to avoid having to sleep in her car. She's tried to find a job, any job. Even crappy ones. She's been repeatedly told she's overqualified. It's not just lazy people or poor people who are struggling. This woman was rich. This can happen to you too.
He touched her over her bra and underpants, she says, and guided her hand to touch him over his underwear

Silly turtle, who benefits the most from eliminating the possibility of systemic runs on U.S. banks?
It is not very unreasonable that the rich should contribute to the public expense, not only in proportion to their revenue, but something more than in that proportion.

Hard to say. most rich people have assets in other places. Many middle class americans only have savings and their home equity

The job market sucks and you know what? People that are living in small towns? Sometimes who you are and where you come from gets you the job and the snobby folks doing the hiring? They toss out those that live in the projects. This is a fact of life and so maybe you need to understand reality.

Really? Do you think that way about all victims?

You admit that you could care less about people being treated as if they are animals and they are suppose to retain their dignity while doing so? I think you need to get a heart
