Beck Responds to ADL Statement Calling His Soros Reporting ‘Horrific’ & ‘Offensive’ | The Blaze

This has the video of Soros talking about when he was 14.
It also has Glenn talking about the same thing.

Do we have that whole video so I can see the context around what he was saying? As I showed on my last post you can not trust Beck. He edits and lies way too much to actually trust his editing. Wheres the entire section of what he was talking about. Was he asked a question he was answering? Was he talking about how the times made him and his family closer or something? We have no idea. Where's the whole video and please explain you're take on my last post if you actually take Glenn Beck as trustworthy.

I think his 60 minutes interview says a lot. When Kroft suggests that the acts Soros performed with the Jewish Council "would send lots of people to the psychiatric couch for many, many years," Soros responds by saying it "created no problem at all" -- that he felt no guilt.

Let's pause for a second and let that sink in... at the very minimum you're going into homes, forcibly removing families who must be distraught/terrified, and taking their possessions. Yet this creates "no problem at all."
So why no guilt? Apparently he believes he had "no role" -- is not responsible for his actions -- more or less because 'if I didn't do it, someone else would have.' He even goes so far as to imply that that's what has brought him success in the markets: "well, actually, in a funny way, it's just like in markets."

It sounds like if the markets allowed him to take the life savings of 1000's of families, he would feel no guilt in doing so -- so long as he convinced himself that "of course, if I wasn't doing it, somebody else would be taking it away anyhow."

With that reasoning, there's very little you can't justify. No... he's not a good guy.

Can you find any Soro's quote saying he went forcibly into people's houses? All I've found is where he said that he handed out papers to people asking them to come to the council.

Because his show causes brain cells to die. Beck is constantly over the top, that's how these political entertainers are.

Yes, in the 60 minutes interview I referenced:
Extended quotation from the 60 Minutes transcript follows: ?When the Nazis occupied Budapest in 1944, George Soros' father was a successful lawyer. He lived on an island in the Danube and liked to commute to work in a rowboat. But knowing there were problems ahead for the Jews, he decided to split his family up. He bought them forged papers and he bribed a government official to take 14-year-old George Soros in and swear that he was his Christian godson. But survival carried a heavy price tag. While hundreds of thousands of Hungarian Jews were being shipped off to the death camps, George Soros accompanied his phony godfather on his appointed rounds, confiscating property from the Jews.

KROFT: (Voiceover) And you watched lots of people get shipped off to the death camps.

Mr. SOROS: Right. I was 14 years old. And I would say that that's when my character was made.

    KROFT: In what way?

Mr. SOROS: That one should think ahead. One should understand and--and anticipate events and when--when one is threatened. It was a tremendous threat of evil. I mean, it was a--a very personal experience of evil.

KROFT: My understanding is that you went out with this protector of yours who swore that you were his adopted godson.

    Mr. SOROS: Yes. Yes.

KROFT: Went out, in fact, and helped in the confiscation of property from the Jews.

Mr. SOROS: Yes. That's right. Yes.

KROFT: I mean, that's--that sounds like an experience that would send lots of people to the psychiatric couch for many, many years. Was it difficult?

Mr. SOROS: Not--not at all. Not at all. Maybe as a child you don't--you don't see the connection. But it was--it created no--no problem at all.
    KROFT: No feeling of guilt?

    Mr. SOROS: No.

KROFT: For example that, 'I'm Jewish and here I am, watching these people go. I could just as easily be there. I should be there.' None of that?

Mr. SOROS: Well, of course I c--I could be on the other side or I could be the one from whom the thing is being taken away. But there was no sense that I shouldn't be there, because that was--well, actually, in a funny way, it's just like in markets--that if I weren't there--of course, I wasn't doing it, but somebody else would--would--would be taking it away anyhow. And it was the--whether I was there or not, I was only a spectator, the property was being taken away. So the--I had no role in taking away that property. So I had no sense of guilt. (George Soros, 60 Minutes interview transcript, December 20, 1998)

Re: ADL:Glenn Beck's Remarks About Soros And The Holocaust 'Offensive And Over The To

I am basically there to--to make money. I cannot and do not look at the social consequences of--of what I do. George Soros, commenting on being blamed for the financial collapse of Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Japan and Russia. (60 Minutes interview transcript, December 20, 1998)

I don't feel guilty. Because I'm engaged in an amoral activity which is not meant to have anything to do with guilt. George Soros, commenting on his actions in the currency markets. (60 Minutes interview transcript, December 20, 1998)
...but I wouldn't let this scare you. I'm sure his involvement in American politics and support for the liberal cause stems from a feeling of overwhelming compassion and concern over social wellbeing.

Lots of people say stupid things, I wish I could get paid to do it too

Glenn Beck draws criticism over latest Holocaust comments | The Upshot Yahoo! News

"Glenn Beck draws criticism over latest Holocaust comments"

Beck said on the radio Wednesday that Soros—as a 13-year-old Jewish boy, living apart from his parents in order to avoid apprehension by the Nazis—"used to go around with this anti-Semite and deliver papers to the Jews and confiscate their property and then ship them off. … It was frightening. Here's a Jewish boy helping send the Jews to the death camps."

"While I, too, may disagree with many of Soros' views and analysis on the issues, to bring in this kind of innuendo about his past is unacceptable," Foxman said. "To hold a young boy responsible for what was going on around him during the Holocaust as part of a larger effort to denigrate the man is repugnant."
