The Republican party has veered far away from true conservatism in many ways. I'm still waiting to hear you criticize some of the Republican parties policies that were implemented during the last two terms, and to then offer some assurance that if we vote for Republicans tomorrow it won't happen again.
It is too late to criticize Republicans who aren't in power and haven't been for two years. I judged Obama on his resume not his rhetoric and have been proven right. Results today matter, not what you perceive Bush did in 2007-2008 because what he did isn't something you want to understand. Obama took credit for bringing the country back from the brink when the reality is TARP did that, nothing that Obama did other than vote for it. This country wasn't built on Obama principles. If the economy gets better it will do so at too high of a cost and thus that isn't an improvement at all.

Here's some interesting views... seems the gathering was VERY white, and VERY liberal, something the media seemed to pick up on with the Glen Beck gathering at the Mall.

Here's the entire video, but some of the standouts were:

    2:55
Q:What do you think when you hear Olbermann says Bush is a fascist, does that bother you as much?
A: Usually I'm listening to it more in context and it's more for a point and it's more hyperbole than a fact.

    3:49
Q: What would be a conservative position or a non liberal position you would consider reasonable?
A:<pause> Uhmm... That would take some thought man... Uhh

    3:20
A: You don't see reasonable people put hitler mustaches on people's faces
Q: ... So there's nobody with Bush Hitler signs like there are with Obama's as as Hitler?
A: ... I see what your saying... No ...but really if there should have been a Hitler sign on someone it would be him (Bush) I hate to say it.

    3:14
Q: So if someone gave you a sign that said "Fight the fear of MSNBC", would you carry that sign too?
    A: I don't think I would...

    4:30
We hope to get the point out that it's not all about getting your point out.

The last one was probably the best answer I heard in the entire segment.

I think if Thomas Jefferson were looking down, the author of the Bill of Rights, on whats being proposed here, hed agree with it. He would agree that the First Amendment cannot be absolute. - Chuck Schumer (D). Yet, Madison and Mason wrote the Bill of Rights, according to Sheila Jackson Lee, 400 years ago. Yup, it's a fact.

Yay taking random interviews out of a large group of people to make the entire event look bad is fun!

The only thing that matters about the past is that some people are learning that it wasn't nearly as bad as you and others want to make it. Most would like to relive that growing economy and job creation because we sure don't have that now. Increasingly the people are waking up and don't blame Bush like you do and see Obama for who he really is, an empty suit who has disastrous results. Results matter, not rhetoric. Would love for you to tell me the Bush policies that didn't work. Doubt your list will include actual results and thus facts.

    The ironic thing is.

They have absolutely no problem doing it when its not their side.

When Hazlnut did it to the Restore Honor Rally, they went crackers.

Same as those who say it was ok to compare Bush to Hitler, and not ok to Compare Obama to Hitler and vice versa.

Those who say its ok because "they did it" prove they're no better.

    Its sad, really sad.

You believe every single Bush policy, from economics, to politics to foreign policy, was successful? I don't know any president in history I can say that about. Do you then, believe that Bush was the greatest president in U.S. history?
