Racist Email Flap Blows Up Virgina Beach GOP

Why is it Democrats always play the race card when they are getting their butts kicked in elections?

Do you have a reading problem?

It's a non sequitur, it has nothing to do with elections. Please try to keep up Navy Pride.

Why is it that "very conservatives" are always trying to deflect?

Don't answer the question because you can't do anything but smoke and mirrors.

Is it "playing the race card" when somebody actually forwarded a racist joke?

Now we're going after small city party chairs who commit a single, shameful, email forward??

You all have been scraping the bottom of the barrel so much, you're liable to make a hole.

Certainly not ... it's the other 99% of the time when there is no valid reason that's the problem. But then again, if this was a Democrat... it would be disguised as a "teachable moment" and a "in artful" attempt at humor. Since it's a Republican, it's racist.

Has anyone here actually read this email and been able to confirm its contents? I don't think anyone denies that the MSM has a flare for blowing things out of proportion on both sides of the fence...

That said, if the allegations are true, the guy deserved to go down in flames, as would any other public figure making similar statements.

If you speak loudly and confidently enough you are always right.

Confirm it's contents? LOL How, using Google and blogs? Most everything in major mainstream news orgs has been vetted on some level. The glaring mistakes stand out. Nothing wrong with looking for more than one source, but the paranoid delusion that the major news media is somehow suspect on everything is part of the dumbing down of America. Can't trust the news? Helps the spin doctors and the propagandists. They can go unchallenged.

Those are the very people the Tea Party types are wanting to run for high office. Sorry, but the small city party chair is in Karl rove's words "Fair Game"

Are you speaking to me? If so please explain in a PM? I can see where people might misconstrue the post: "For some peiople. yes. For the lazy, ignorant, and misinformed." but that is a generalized reply to a general statement: "If you speak loudly and confidently enough you are always right."

If I am wrong, still PM me ad explainw hat I am not seeing?

I am sending you a PM, but everyone needs to note that you don't respond to moderation in-thread, you respond via PM or in Binky, ok? That's normally an infraction but I see that you're relatively new.

Nothing wrong with wanting to see the offending email and judge for yourself. I know I was thinking the same thing. Often times if somoene says anything negative about a black person or the black community, they are immediately tarred as a racist. Given how so many folks love to play the race card, including the mainstream media, I'd like to read the offending email and judge for myself.

Exactly. Although, that appears to be too much to ask for in some circles, eh?

Well, you see - Democrats "misspeak", whereas Republicans are "racists". Remember these?

"You cannot go to a 7-11 or Dunkin Donuts unless you have a slight Indian Accent."
-Senator Joe Biden

Mahatma Gandhi "ran a gas station down in Saint Louis."

-Senator Hillary Clinton

I seem to recall Hillary and Joe still having their political careers and are doing just fine.
Well, you still have the Arizona state Senator Russell Pearce who said in an email that undocumented immigrant women don't "give birth" or "have a baby" or "start a family": they "drop a child" comparing them to farm animals. And Pearce also said, “If we are going to have an effect on the anchor baby racket, we need to target the mother. Call it sexist, but that’s the way nature made it. Men don’t drop anchor babies, illegal alien mothers do,”

And you still have Sen. Lindsey Graham who said, "They come here to drop a child. It’s called ‘drop and leave.’” Again, comparing immigrant women to farm animals.

And Ron Paul, "Boy, it sure burns me to have a national holiday for that pro-communist philanderer Martin Luther King. I voted against this outrage time and time again as a Congressman. What an infamy that Ronald Reagan approved it! We can thank him for our annual Hate Whitey Day."

And of course Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh who have said too many derogatory racist things to count and both still have their jobs.

So what are you crying about?

Why is it Democrats always play the race card when they are getting their butts kicked in elections?
Maybe it's because Republicans always use the "southern strategy" to get elected. Ya think?

poor political correctness is gettin slapped everywhere.
