I guess he doesn't think he can buy enough votes or pay for enough lies and pure old fashion propaganda to make any real difference.

And I commend him him for seeing the futility of wasting his money because, Obama has caused so much voter disapproval it's a hopeless cause.

Now if the old idiot would stop spending millions to destroy the economy with "Obama I Don't Care about your health Kill Granny Plan," and Cap and Trade I'd be a happy camper.

Soros: I Can't Stop a Republican "Avalanche" - NYTimes.com
By SEWELL CHAN

George Soros, the billionaire financier who was an energetic Democratic donor in the last several election cycles but is sitting this one out, is not feeling optimistic about Democratic prospects.

“I made an exception getting involved in 2004,” Mr. Soros, 80, said in a brief interview Friday at a forum sponsored by the Bretton Woods Committee, which promotes understanding of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank.

So all it would take for you to be happy is for Soros to not spend money on politics? You would stop worrying about Obama, Reid, Pelosi, etc?

Somehow I doubt this.

Why do the regressives hate this guy so much anyway? Because he's rich and not on their side?

Maybe it's because he's a contemptible Bastard who would like to see this Nation changed into some Orwellian nightmare if he could arrange it.

Soros didn't get rich by being stupid. You can't blame him for not wanting to flush good money down the toilet.
Instead of the dems complaining about how much money the Rep. have to spend and blaming the SCOTUS ruling, they should look at their own actions. The liberals are destroying the country. The American people are awake now. I don't think it's that Republicans are so popular, it's that the Dems are so unpopular this election.
When Soros isn't donating to them, you know they're in trouble. No wonder Obama is having a hissy fit.

If all goes well, the HC bill will be repealed and cap and trade will be put way way back on some burner on another planet.

Repealed with at best bare majority's in both House (???) No way - Barry has the Veto and Boehner, and McConnell know he will use it.

The liberals are destroying the country.
George W. Bush and the conservatives who backed him already have had a big whack at destroying the country.

Actually SOME Conservatives were not all that fond of GWB, or his Father.

He is the anti-koch!!!

Apparently. I was just hoping there was something specific other than "gives money to Democrats, therefore must be a communist."

So if the GOP repeals the HC law and wipes out cap and trade, the country will be fixed?

Oh BarbbOH

Most people don't remember this but he has been dubbed "the man who broke the Bank of England."
He's also been convicted of insider trading.

Don't know if that answers your question in total but that's why some people don't like him.

Of course not. However, it will be stopped from going over the cliff. We have long way to go to be anywhere near being "fixed."

He's everything the liberals say they despise.

Liberals constitute a Majority in Beverly Hills and in numerous other affluent areas in the USA including Barbara Boxer's Marin County. They've NEVER seen a conflict or imagined themselves as Hypocrites. Some think of FDR - a guy born to wealth who "did so much" That is their yardstick.

Can you tell me where all of the funding for health care reform has to originate?

( The United States Constitution - The U.S. Constitution Online - USConstitution.net )

What would happen to health care reform if there was no funds to implement the bureaucracy that would support the change?

What could Barry do if there was nothing to veto?

The Machinery & the Bureaucracy will stay in place even if the funding dries up. That's All he wants. All along he has not cared if it ever worked out at all. To him it was just an assault on the Middle Class , which Leftists consider the Enemy camp.

So you think all of the present federal health care reform employees will come to work even if they won't have a paycheck at the end of the week?

Where does the money come from for lights, water, and sewer for all of those federal health care reform office buildings?

Where will the money come from for the 159 new federal health care reform bureaucracies come from?

Who will hold the purse strings if the Republicans win the House?

So they don't? OK then. It wouldn't be the first time I'd been wrong.
carry on...

I am not saying that you are wrong, I am just wondering where you got this idea from.

If it's on the books and not overturned by the Courts it will survive to be an albatross around the Country's neck. It is not comprable to defunding overseas Military involvements. Once troops come home that's it - but domestic stuff even if seldom used. misused , sidelined or forgotten can always be revived if the winds change a bit.

Kindly remember one thing in light of some substantial gains on November 2nd by Conservatives. Those making the difference are not idealogues, not deeply committed, not too well informed, not chronological, or consistent. They can shift back in 2 years , 4 years, 6 years and odds are the GOP even with the TP New Blood will not fully come thru even if they had a Veto proof majority.

Mr.Newt if Honest probably would agree.

Ironic, since most of the nation seems utterly pleased to let an Australian billionaire buy the White House for one of his cronies.

It won't last though. Once the even-more-incompetent-than-what-we-have-now Congress gets seated and they recognize that nothing will change, we'll just settle back into politics as usual.
