    Kind of funny isn't.

AUSTAN GOOLSBEE: I think the world vests too much power, certainly in the president, probably in Washington in general for its influence on the economy, because most all of the economy has nothing to do with the government.

    Sadly, I know. Sadly.

you can bet your ass that if he was, and our situation was the same, you'd still be blaming obama.

that is typical liberal rhetoric, IF Bush was still in the WH Obama would still be campaigning instead of doing his job as Senator and still having people like you fainting listening to him.

Can you explain to me how Obama won an election with 52% of the vote and today has an approval rating of 38-42% losing 10-14% of his base? Apparently those people are getting it wrong and don't see it like you do.

The current mess needs JOBS, not tax cuts....
is it your position that jacking them up will help

such actions won't help those of us who already pay 40% of the income taxes

our country became the greatest in the world with no or almost no income taxes

The Depression was accentuated by Hoover's tax hikes followed by FDR's tax hikes

Don't let that liberal rhetoric bother you brother. They want to focus on Bush's rating when he left office which was lower than Obama's, and the fact that its one of the lowest approval ratings in history, but they don't take into consideration the fact that Obama has only been in office for two years. Give him six more years to mess the country up and his should be as low as Bush's was. Plus, around this time in Bush's presidency 9/11 happened, and history shows that approval ratings are lower after tragedies. Obama is instead dealing with the greatest recession since the Great Depression, and if I'm not mistaken, people usually rally behind their presidents during recessions. The approval ratings really reveal how "well" this president is doing.

LOL, but Bush isn't in office and Bush didn't win the 2008 elections. This is about Obama, not Bush.Don't blame you from wanting to ignore that fact but you do a great job presenting the liberal lies as fact and do it in sarcastic way. I worked during the early 80's and I can tell you without a doubt there is no comparison between what Obama "inherited" compared to what Reagan inherited. Reagan knew what to do, Obama doesn't have a clue.

Obama approval ratings are based upon his results as his rhetoric has worn off.
