NY governor candidate to reporter: 'I'll take you out'

Involving someone's child/children in the news against them is wrong. But having a child out of wedlock while married is worse, especially when you hold yourself in higher moral regard than others. It is worse when you think God hold's you in higher regard but has forgiven you of all your transgressions ahead of time so you can continue to commit transgressions. So, if you are going to talk one way and walk another yet persue a path in PUBLIC office then you are asking for anything you get, IMO. Freedom of speech comes with consequences. Get ready to see that personified to the max in the most negative manner if not 2010 certainly 2012. Politicians have allowed politics to become this ugly and the networks have been right there to cheer them along. I believe a truce and some self-governance is badly needed.
No, no it isnt. I could care less what a political figure does off the clock as long as he does a good job on the clock. I dont care if he's doing lines of coke off a hooker's navel on top of a pile of nudie magazines while wearing women's underwear, I genuinely DO NOT care.

A "good parent" would not get woman (not his current wife) pregnant. Again I post:

So tuff shyte on Carl. You play; you pay.

People make mistakes, and that girl is still his daughter. He may have made a mistake, but at least he still loves and cares for her. Many people abandon their love children. He is taking up for her because the media wants to blow up on the story and was sending photographers to his 10 year old girl.

People do make mistakes, you're right. But a guy for NY governor who is a hot head, is not faithful to his wife, and can't operate a condom properly? He's too irresponsible. Another Newt Gingrich type.

Do you know who our last two governors were?

We had a hotheaded asshole who spent tens of thousands of dollars on prostitutes before resigning. He was replaced by a former cokehead who failed the bar and also cheated on his wife. That guy is facing a half dozen ethical and criminal investigations and might not make it all the way to the next inauguration.

Paladino would fit right in.

The point is that we're trying to actually change what goes on in Albany. Paladino and Cuomo are both ****stain scumbags in my opinion but I would like to at least get some brains in the state captial for a change.

Nah, he should get a TV show like Spitzer, and skip the thrill of important office.

Seriously though, I hate that we get so many of these creeps, not just running for office, but being elected. I understand the quest for political office and the power that goes with it excites people with big egos who think they can get away with anything. But we should be somewhat wise to that by now, and more selective.

I completely understand that urge, but nothing about Cuomo screams intelligence either. The guy's been riding his father's coattails since the day he was born.

Palladino is a low class thug.

'Taking someone out' does not refer to arresting him. Not in this country, anyway.

The real point is, though, Paladino is not leader material with an uncontrolled temper like this.

But Cuomo is... with his failed policies and sleazy politics?

I'd take the pissed off guy who wants to clean out the rot and rotten fish anyday.
What a nation of PC ******s.

.

I don't care for either of them, but this thread isn't about Cuomo.

The thing is, the people I think of as leaders don't have extramarital affairs and illigitimate kids, and don't threaten to kill other people out of anger.

I certainly agree with the last one, but not so sure about the first two. Many good leaders have done one or both of the first two.
