    Have you heard about context. Why not link the entire speech, so it can be examined? Anyone one who can reasonably read should be able to figure it out. No leader would be as careless as you suggest even if they meant to do the silliness you suggest.

    AUSTAN GOOLSBEE: I think the world vests too much power, certainly in the president, probably in Washington in general for its influence on the economy, because most all of the economy has nothing to do with the government.

    Well that is not what is up for grabs in this election. It does seem with the disfunctional political system we have some checks and balances work best.
