so let me get this straight.

the democrats in congress don't have the time to decide on whether or not to cut what taxes (a mere couple of months before Jan 2011, nobody knows what the tax rates will be).
the democrats in congress don't have time to actually decide whether or not to secure the border as the situation descends deeper and deeper into violent chaos
the democrats in congress don't have time to even present a friggin budget....

but they do have time to import a comedian whose shtick is to pretend to be a particularly obnoxious right-winger.

when we are pushing double-digit unemployment.

    right.

well, this ought to make a dandy campaign ad here in about ten minutes.

They're paid and they took the job willingly, so calling it slavery is hyperbolic and only inflames the situation further.

But that "take our jobs" campaign DOES have a point. We've got very high unemployment, but still Americans wont do these jobs. Because they're ****ty jobs and the pay is horrid, but damnit we want cheap apples so we'll hire these guys from Mexico who don't have any other options. You can blame the lack of border security, political correctness, or whatever, but the reality is that these people cross the border because there's a job. There's demand for cheap labor that we wont fill ourselves, and we're unwilling to pay higher prices for food so we put up with the "problem," and it gives us a convenient scapegoat to blame for our economic woes.

I'll make sure to tell the hispanic groups to stop using the term.

People 'wont' take those jobs because they have squat for work ethics and we have created a handout system that allows them the luxury of 'choosing' not to. I would bet if it was work or starve, we could change some of those folks' minds.

All that being said...I dont have anything against the illegal immigrants. i understand their plight and Ive said it on more than one occasion...if I lived in that ****hole I'd escape and find a way to provide for my family. Ive also said I would gladly keep those 20-30 million hard working illegals and send mexico 20-30 million of our crippled and dependent pets and let them enjoy mexicos socialist utopia.

I DO have a problem with the "we need those people here to do the job no American would do, for pay no Americans would accept." Most importantly what that means is those hard working and intelligent individuals that COULD be doctors, scientists, etc are here mowing my lawn.

Yeah, all those people losing their homes are just LOVING this socialist paradise. They choose not to work because it's just easier this way.

He was only in character for around 5-8 mins. Then he was serious. Still those mins are costly and while it is funny stuff? He shoulda left the comedy outta of it period. This is serious ****!
