Re: Rasmussen: Ď52 percent of voters say their views are more like Palinís than Obama

One of the shortcomings of Rasmussen is that a majority of "likely voters" are conservative, however, "likely voters" are not a better representation of the general voting pool of a given election than inconsistant voters, because "inconsistant voters" describes most Americans.

"Likely voter" has no meaning, other than it refers to a person who will almost certainly vote, as opposed to the larger number of people who may or may not vote. Inconsistant voters are more important in elections than likely voters.

If you notice something good in yourself, give credit to God, not to yourself, but be certain the evil you commit is always your own and yours to acknowledge.

I'm sorry, that makes no sense. Ras. has always been the most accurate in calling elections because they poll only likely voters. Takes some of the guess work out. Why would conservatives be more likely to vote?
It's getting late and almost time for Red-Eye to come on. Maybe i'm just tired and don't get where you're coming from.

    ROTFLOL... a political MOAB!

And as we know, there are more mainstream folks than pinheads.
Seems they aren't too keen on Obama's definition of Change we can believe in.

    Quite correct. Thanks.

And 52% of liberals are actually dumb enough to think Palin said this.

    Hey Grant.

Who passed the "U.S. acid rain cap and trade program?" And if it's so bad, why did the GOP not even think of repealing it?
The subject is cap and trade and Sarah Palin. This lack of focus, and extremely limited attention span by the Left, is either in their genes or the result of a serious lack of education.

Which do you think it might be?

Obama has such a grasp on how business works he believes they should take loans to make payroll.

THAT level of illiteracy is dangerous.

No... it's called learning about Obama the candidate... a little late, but at least they have learned they were sold an ocean of BS.

Now they can make an educated decision... whereas before, we had the Journolists keeping the electorate fairly ignorant. It's the only way he could win.

Geraldine Ferraro nailed him perfectly. Unfit for duty. She deserves a huge apology from Libs.

Re: Rasmussen: Ď52 percent of voters say their views are more like Palinís than Obama

I cannot believe anyone would be shocked at this. The average American voter has no idea what is actually going on in their government. They tune in to spin-doctors and partisan hacks for their information. Political ads from both sides are extremely misleading and full of lies. If a country is not motivated enough to even keep-up with what is going on, is it so shocking to hear they think they are more in-line with Palin? She does not talk in details, rather she regurgitates platitudes that strike a chord with the down-home, average "joe's" and that is what keeps her popular.

true. for example, one of Palin's first acts on taking the governorship of Alaska was to veto a bill that would have denied healthcare and other benefits to homosexual partners of state employees. yet people jump all over her for being a far-right-wing conservative because she's open about being a Christian.
