Indeed. If some dude ever grabbed a cig out of my mouth and crushed it, he'd find his balls in my fist. Or my knee smashing them. Depends on my mood.

That may not turn out the way you envision. BTW, I think it is well more respectful to acknowledge the base rights and freedoms of the individual even if they are doing things you do not like than it is to get on your high horse and enforce your opinions and behaviors on others.

It is not very unreasonable that the rich should contribute to the public expense, not only in proportion to their revenue, but something more than in that proportion.

That all depends on where I hide your body. Hahah, but you have no right to snatch someone's property and destroy it. So don't pretend like the pistol whipping is the first move of violence. Your property grab is far more disrespectful and is the initiator of violence.

Perhaps. But i am more than willing and able to take such a risk. Does your right to smoke in public negate my right to be smoke free in public?

You've initiated stealing, and thus have engaged in force and violence against another. Their response is justified where as you are the initiating aggressor.

Yes, because of the nature and innate dynamics of a free society; that is necessarily true. Just like someone else's right to bring their dog out in public negates my right to be in an allergen free public. Thems the breaks man, it's called freedom. High time you learn to deal with it.

Both of us can move to separate areas, it is of no consequence.

I hate the smell of diesel vehicles, really hate it.
No one is banning them from the road.
I was discovering that life just simply isn't fair and bask in the unsung glory of knowing that each obstacle overcome along the way only adds to the satisfaction in the end. Nothing great, after all, was ever accomplished by anyone sulking in his or her misery.

How so? It would be just as easy for the smoker to go somewhere else so they are not to bother me. Like i said, i am more than able to take such a risk. When someone disrespects you, do you call the cops or pound them until they piss their pants?

It's easy for YOU to go somewhere else as well.

I ignore them, no rule against being disrespectful. People are free to be as rude as they want. I won't call the police and I won't engage in physical violence against them unless they initiate physical violence. Just being rude doesn't cut it. As I said, I think it is far more respectful to acknowledge and accept an individual's rights and freedoms than it is to be a snobbish dick to others.
