Dems have been depressed and angry since Bush 'stole' Gore's ring of power in 2000. Nothing has changed.

the mass of lib voters are mad that other people are prosperous and don't spend most of their life sucking from t he teat of government

Lib politicians are upset over the knowledge that somewhere, someplace someone is doing fine without needing government help

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO

You have it all wrong.

Lib politicians are upset over the knowledge that somewhere, someplace someone is doing fine without government help, and it might spread among the people that they can do it too.

Ah yes...
Liberals quantify 'effective government' by the number of governmental programs designed to help the needy.
Conservatives measure 'effective government' by the number of people that do not need help from the government.

Of course their sad. Their black Muslim leader is selling us to china so the terrorists can bomb us again and nobody will care.

I didn't know he was black or Muslim, although he was very close with quite a few Muslims. Here he is, about to slip the tongue to one of them:

I love doom speak it sounds so wonderful and when the statists blues get kicked out they are simply replaced with statist reds. Guess what will change? NOTHING! Maybe the cluster**** of the "health care" law might be repealed. We will still have big brother "protecting" us, socialism in the bull**** guise of foreign aid, babysitting Europe, Africa, the ME, Latin America and Asia with our military. All the talk is just that, TALK.

Fewer and fewer people have concern and interest for our general future and for our overall society and well being as a country.

I disagree. I think more and more people are waking up and are very concerned about the future. We just need to elect politicians who care about the country over their own interests.

My guess is that the tea party will prove to be the secret weapon for the dems. Florida is a good example, good chance Crist wins and decides to side with the dems after the tea party made sure he would not be the Rep candidate. They chose the weakest possible opponent for Reid and now in Alaska we will probably have the tea party candidate run as the rep and the incumbent rep senator run as an independent.

So the tea party may be the best weapon the dems have to retain control of congress. A few seats here or there will make all the difference.

Really? Crist wins Florida?

No way dude, you're delusional.

I actually agree with this statement...that the Tea Party will cost republicans seats. I dont think this is a good thing, but also not necessarily a bad thing either. At the end of the day...if a republican replaces a democrat that is cut from the same cloth the US is still ****ed either way. Only mindless party ideologues look at the 'republicans' or 'democrats' winning as a GOOD thing. There is a REASON why their approval rating is 11%. Probably has something to do with their histories of massive failure. Both sides.

Too funny. :D

:rofl You know I mean 'every*thing*' :Rofl But everyone works just fine

You know, you're right - good point.

:):):):)

I'm still happy!
Sure, the prez isn't far enough to the left for my tastes, but other than that, we're still controlling everything. I'll save my depression for when the GOP swings back into control. No since rushing things.

To hear Pelosi, Reid, and Obama, not to mention lots of people HERE,tell it, the GOP controls things now. Which is why things don't "get done" -- because the GOP "stops" it.

They really need to have canned laughter when that line is used by those morons in Washington. The GOP doesn't have enough votes to stop a four year old on a big wheel right now.

Whereas Bush...according to the liberals NOT the brightest bulb in the chandelier...apprently OWNED the democrats and did whatever he wanted with no democrat support even though they had far less 'control'...So...what does that say both about the past AND current crop of clowns in the democrat party?

So was Bush the stupid chimpanzee the Democrats bleated on about or was he the incognito genius who fumbled his words a lot?

Dont know the guy...from what I understand Bush works a small room of people like nobodies business...very affable and likable, even with non hate infested liberals. Its on the big stage that he stumbles and fumbles...again...from what I have read from DEMOCRATS.

I personally prefer to think he was the former...because that makes the democrats look that much more stupid! :lamo

I just want to throw this in to depress the dems even more..

Voters now trust Republicans more than Democrats on all 10 of the important issues regularly tracked by Rasmussen Reports.

The GOP has consistently been trusted on most issues for months now, but in July they held the lead on only nine of the key issues.

Trust on Issues - Rasmussen Reports™

Ok...but thats like asking do you want a rapist or a pedophile to watch your kids...

Im sorry...but the republican party has done as much to screw things up as has the democrats. As a citizen I simply dont see how others can look to EITHER of the parties as 'the answer'. While Im not a "Tea Party" type, I applaud them for at least bringing forward candidates with different ideas outside of the standard party mindset.

When I see people on this site rubbing their hands with glee at the upcoming election all I can see is people thinking "YAY...Im going to get ****ed over by someone I like!!!"

I agree with you 99%, but we have seen what happens when the libs run things and it is 3 or 4 times worse than when the Republicans ran things.

It does no one any good to "wish" there was a 3rd party....... there isn't, and that is a plain fact of life.

Question..... if you had only 2 choices, would you vote for a republican or a lib?

In my mind it is the choice of a tofu sandwich or a **** sandwich…… I hate tofu, however……..

Id opt for a hunger strike...or forage for something different.

Believe me...i get it. I also get the 3rd party vote isnt a great option. Thats why I applaud the Tea Party groups...hell I was even a fan of the green party...at least they actually STOOD for something.

I just get very frustrated with the party ideologues that cant see beyond the D or R. Thats the kind of mentality that has brought us to verge of economic collapse. And frankly...sometimes thats not a bad idea. You should see some of the new growth in a forrest following a fire.
