Believe me...i get it. I also get the 3rd party vote isnt a great option. Thats why I applaud the Tea Party groups...hell I was even a fan of the green party...at least they actually STOOD for something.

I just get very frustrated with the party ideologues that cant see beyond the D or R. Thats the kind of mentality that has brought us to verge of economic collapse. And frankly...sometimes thats not a bad idea. You should see some of the new growth in a forrest following a fire.
All you can do is vote out the incumbent... oh wait, that's what is happening.

Didn't Bush have a majority in Congress and the Senate for most of his Presidency?

Thinkgs could change. But to claim Crist is currently leading in the polls is just factually wrong.
    Rubio (R) 40%
    Crist (I) 30%
    Meek (D) 21%

a 1 or 2 vote majority for 6 years (if you call having certain RINOs as part of his majority). But now with a 10 vote majority the democrats cant accomplish what Bush did? So...you are saying Bush wasn't that smart...its THIS current cash crop of assclowns that are that stupid? That the democrats are even MORE stupid and incompetent than Bush was? thats not really a strong selling point there...

Besides, the Democrats did consistently support Bush on some issues, particularly relating to the War on Terror. They did eventually develop their own modus operandi in opposition to Bush, but they couldn't really go anywhere with it.

If there anything that's depressing me, its how arbitary and impressionable the general public is proving.

Are you arguing that the Republican Party has less voting solidarity than the Democratic Party, and that Bush had to have been a mastermind to get them to concur on the issues?

That's not an accurate belief. The Republican Party has much greater voting solidarity than the Democratic Party.

Conservatives tend to be more homogenous than liberals, which tend to have a more fractured party. This may be changing with the tea party though.

I think the author is right. President Obama has accomplished a great deal, but because he's not out there holding victory dances, we don't know the half of what he's accomplished.
    Obama has accomplished nothing.

His only powers are... Commander In Chief, Bully pulpit, vetos, signing bills, and pardons... Congress is the real mover and shaker...

Or it could be that the things they were trying to pass were not acceptable to a fair amount of democrats. WHo knows...maybe some on the left side of the aisle actually bothered to read the legislation before they just gave it their blanket approval and decided it was not good legislation.

I think you would be surprised.
