We've already been ifnromed to prepare for higher premiums and higher copayments.

Premiums go up to adjust for expenses "all the time", which isn't even a quantifiable value. Typically they slightly increase every one to two years and not by any significant margins, maybe 10-15$ as an average and those are usually inflation or state compliance issues. Under Obamacare these compliance costs are ridiculous and you are about to see much larger increases over a shorter time period. Like Jallman said, 26% increase in their premiums since Obamacare, it will be coming to other plans as well. You can use arbitrary numbers like "all the time" if you like but the reality is that is irrelevant to the massive increases coming from this particular bill.

Secondly, it's easy to attribute to the bill. Just look at financial numbers when you see your premiums increase and compare them to the previous increases. Third, this bill needs to be repealed, reworked, and those who passed it imprisoned. The good bad ratio in this bill is around 1:8, keep in mind this is a +2K page monstrosity so the multiplying factors mean this thing is horrid.

ok, it's friday. and we'll see, but as far as a 26% increase next year? how could that possibly be attributed to the new bill? and since you're in the business, you know that when the market is down, insurance companies raise rates. it's not the premiums, it's the investments that garner the profit. that's why malpractice limits don't tend to lower the cost of insurance. what we will probably see is record ins company profits, becasue you know the industry isn't going to let this opportunity pass them by.

THAT'S what republicans are good at, staying on a simple, repeated message, "dems bad, republicans good".
That bill was so good the dems had to bribe their own people to vote for it..... and you think that was all propaganda by the Republicans?

    Got that right....

    1st tweak, defund it.

    2nd tweak, repeal it.

Spin? Do you deny that the HC bill didn't have the votes to pass until some Dems were bribed?..... really?

Do I have to give you some links to refresh your memory?..... really?

Or are you saying that the bill was so good that they had to bribe some people to get their vote?
