Huh what? What does this mean?

In an earlier post in this thread I offered a wager you have not replied so I say "put your money where your mouth is"

Your wager had nothing to do with anything I had said. I have no way of knowing whether the mosque will be built there, nor do I really care. The only thing I care about is that they have a right to build there.

So, terrorists can be any religion, and most Muslims are not terrorists, but you still insist on linking them together for no rational reason.

Bull****, I'm specifically critizing the Islamist views of this Imam. But anyways I guess it's just a coincidence that the ideology held by the vast vast vast vast majority of terrorists today is Islam. Face it, there is within Islam a large violent movement whose ideology is entirely based on Islam. Now I understand that this organization isn't directly linked to terrorism, however, this man is a clear Islamist and it is the non-secular Muslims who blur the line between religion and politics who are the problem, but you want to paint this guy as part of that tolerant pro-western Islam when he's anything but.

And we are free to criticize the living daylights out of him for wanting it.

Considering the number of people who are simply defending everything and anything about the bulding of this Mosque with absolutely no criticism of the actual views being promoted, I would say the problem here lies in the way they are supporting much more than the mere right for people with extreme views to erect a building. They are defending the extremists, themselves.

Now just stop it, you can't criticize this Imam for saying that the US is an accessory to 9-11 and that OBL was made in the USA less than 3 weeks after the 9-11 attacks, you can't criticize him for wanting a Sharia compiant US, and you certainly can't criticize him for refusing to condemn Hamas as a terrorist orgnazation. If you do you must be an Islamaphobe who thinks that all Muslims are terrorists.

I got into a discussion about this on FB and I'd like to just post what I said..I just basically let what I was feeling all out.

Also I'd like to add, their seems to be some very valid reasons as to why many middle eastern Muslims dislike America. We treat them like complete ****,

Yes how dare we find, develop, and purchase their oil.

the only reason we even stick our nose in their business is because they are sitting on... a plethora of oil.

That oil is the only reason why they have anything. They have not produced a single thing of note for about the last 1,000 years. What the hell else do they produce? Saying that's the only reason why we care about the ME, is like saying cheap manufactured goods are the only reason why we care about China. No **** Sherlock.

Despite what people will say the 9/11 attacks were not carried out in the name of Islam but as an act of revenge of U.S. involvement in Lebanon in the 80's (from Osama himself).

Yes you are parroting the al-Taqqiya of Osama bin-Laden himself. I guess you think the reason why you think Hitler invaded Poland is because the Polish attacked Germany. Anyways, from the video of OBL not directed at a western audience he makes clear that he attacked us because we are infidels. And that Allah "ordered him to fight the unbelievers until they say there is no god but Allah and Mohammad is his prophet." (from Osama himself not meant for Western Audiences).

Also placing sanctions in Iraq which leads to the death of over half a million children and going to war with the wrong country isn't going to win you any praise either.

Thanks for the statistics provided to the UN by the Baathist regime. Anyways the fact of the matter is that people of Iraq suffered was due to misappropriation of the food and medicine supplied to Iraq during the sanctions, he would resell the food and medical supplies on the black market and use the proceeds to build lavish palaces and continue funding his military. This is made abundantly clear due to the fact that infant mortality rates actually went down not up in Northern Iraq which was likewise under nearlty the exact same sanctions but where the supplies were under U.N. and Kurdish provisional control and not under Baathist control.

Then when your president's adviser comes out and says the deaths were "Worth it", well that's only icing on the cake isn't it? People wonder why they hate us so much over there but it is fairly obvious why they do. We have been treating them like dirt and killing men, women, and children over there for a very long time.

lol, the only reason why they aren't living in the desert hearding goats is because the west found, developed, and now purchases their oil.

I'm in no way trying to defend 9/11 but I'd like people to realize their is another side to the story.

The ****ing hell you aren't.

Their hate for us is justified to a certain extent.

No it is irrational hate created through their state run propaganda organs used to distract the populace from the shortcomings of their owned failed and corrupt governments. That's their stock and trade, blame the west and blame Israel.

They like their way of life the way it is and don't want us to interfere so why not just leave them alone! I'm just sick of hearing all this mosque stuff. There is already another mosque two blocks away from the ground zero and one in the pentagon.

A) That Mosque was there prior to 9-11 and it is 12 blocks away, this Mosque is being built to intentionally provoke and as a victory memorial to the 9-11 attacks.

B) There is no Mosque in the Pentagon it is a non-denominational prayer area.

This is just a manufactured controversy by the right to gain support. I give them credit though, it's a good controversy because your typical American isn't smart enough to see through the bull ****.

The only bull**** here, is a sharia supporting, U.S. hating, Hamas apologist Islamist POS building a victory Mosque at ground zero, he has the right to build it, but to suggest that it's manufactured controversy is ****ing laughable.

Just curious...are you a supporter by any chance?

No I am not.

Re: Ground Zero Mosque Group Says It Has No Plan to Move Site or Meet With N.Y. Gover

James there is evidence that they are trying to build this mosque as a monument to Islams conquest and superiority over the USA. They initially were going to call this mosque the Cordoba House. Why do you suppose they would call it that? They were naming it after the great mosque in Cordoba Spain built as a symbol of conquest and Islamic superiority over Spain in AD 987.

Just a coincedence? I think not, to me and many Americans this is evidence of there intent. If you choose to ignore this evidence you are well on your way to dhimmitude.

You do realize that it has not been called the great mosque of Cordoba for centuries? Is there any evidence that when the church of Saint Vincent and was sold to Abd ar-Rahman I and remodeled into a mosque that it was done so to rub it into the noses of the losers?

Its what muslims do. Its a symbol of Islamic superiority over the kuffer. This mosque is being built for the same reason the Cordoba Mosque was built or the Al Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem was built.

BTW, what the hell happend to you. When did you become an appeaser and a dhimmi apologist for Islamic supremist?
