.........................the IRS last month released a letter to Sen. Chuck Schumer (Info. 2010-0080) sanctioning the treatment of an "herb" as a medical expense:

That's right. The Federal government still classifies possession of weed illegal, but if you live in a state that has medical marijuana, and you have used weed as the result of a prescription, you can now list that expense as a tax deduction.

What you are witnessing is the death of the War on Drugs. It is death by a thousand small cuts, but death nonetheless. Time to go after real criminals now.
