    Might. but a lot of eyes have looked at this. It isn't a new problem. I would love to see something specific. Building costs won't go down. Utility costs won't go down. Fuel costs for busess won't likely go down, and buying other modes of transportation would cost as well. There will always be a suplly cost, and any reduction would be minimal.

    I would simply like to see something more specific.

    AUSTAN GOOLSBEE: I think the world vests too much power, certainly in the president, probably in Washington in general for its influence on the economy, because most all of the economy has nothing to do with the government.

    I will let you know if the town wants me to help them. There are potentials to consolidate purchasing of the surrounding towns. same with admin costs. With interest rates down is there may be an opportunity to lower interest costs; there may be opportunities to drive better deals on any number of things; there could be an opportunity to lower headcount as people retire; look at how we pay for benefits;are we doing a great job of collecting taxes; can we generate more income from municipal assets, like the golf course.

    Just a few off the top of my head.
