Rush Limbaugh Gets Mega Millions for Condo Sale

It's called, "appraisel". What I sell my home for, is no one's ****ing business. How can I possibly get an above market price for my home, if the buyer already knows what other homes have sold for? .
Have you ever bought/sold a home? All of this info is readily available in the US, and not just to realtors. If I knew your address, it would take me less than five minutes to figure out what you paid for it. Would also have a good chance at seeing what the previous owner(s) paid, their asking price, price reductions, etc.

That's because we have rights, here. The Canucks sold their souls to socialism decades ago.

Uh, no. In LA, all brokers know the sale price of houses. Also, in most places, the final sale price is on file so the appraisers have a starting point the next time the property is sold.

Um, not, it's illegal to pump your own gas in BC, without paying first. It's a law. Learn it, know it, live it.

You might want to become familiar with the laws in your country, because ignorance of the law is no excuse.

Dude, I don't know what part of Louisiana you're in, but I'm in Baton Rouge and every single gas station that i can think of requires that you pay before filling up. They started it before Katrina but right after Katrina, nearly every gas station switched to that method because of so many people driving off with gas.

Not letting them pump their own gas is not the same as requiring them to pay first.

I can think of at least two states that also don't let you pump your own gas right here in the US, so it's not an entirely Canadian thing.

um, here in fl the information is available to everyone.

You can even go on Zillow.com and look up any address to see what houses are selling for and what houses in an area recently sold for and the month they sold along with exterior and interior pictures of the homes.

Housing sell prices are public knowledge. What is NOT is what negotiations went into the price. You can buy a home for $500k and have the seller pay $10k in closing costs and you put down $50k. You now owe $440k on that home but the sell price is still listed at $500k.

True, but what I pay for a home isn't public knowledge. Is it?

Does the info read, "this is what a home, with these features sold for"?

Or, does it read, "APDST paid this for this piece of property"? That's the point I'm making.

That info is available from the county assessor and is public knowledge.

Here in Tx you can find out what any house sold for, like someone up thread said all is on county assessors website.

You also have to pay first for your gas here and as others said it is to stop drive offs. I don't know of anywhere around here that you can get someone to pump for you, all stations are self serve.
