i doubt they will go anywhere..
there doesnt seem to be any more profitable crude anywhere else in the world than the sweet crude from the gulf and texas area. if they do leave, then so be it and good riddance to bad rubbish.

take note how gasoline prices are still steady even in light of this and other oil supply related "disturbances".. about 3 years ago we were paying 3.50+ per gallon when someone sneezed near a well. my what a difference a bit of time has apparently made.

Yep, they're gone alright. They're going to places like Brazil where they can drill for George Soros's Petrobraz, without nearly as much regulation.

Glad to see what you think of all those hardworking Americans, busting their asses for a living. It's no wonder Leftists voted for Obama.

Maybe it has something to do with the tons of dispersant being chem sprayed into the ocean. And one day BP dumped some 70,000 gallons on a single day just so they can dump less after and the EPA say they did good by forcing them to lower their daily use of this unfamilier chemical. Secret chemical warfare?

you act like it was all americans working those rigs... show me an actual count of all americans being affected by deep well drilling in the gulf and ill feel a bit different.

i wonder what your comments were related to auto mfr's, rv mfr's and boat mfr's when they were closing the doors. deep well drilling employees are most certainly not going to be alone in the unemployment line. this recession has been around for years.(long before it was admitted)
not that i wish for anyone to lose their job, but ****e happens and youd better adapt, rather than whine about it.

No one forced them anywhere. They could have gone anywhere in the world and entered into any lease with an agreeable lessor.

Whatever that has to do with anything, I don't think I'll be wasting time to try to figure out...

I've seen several polls that show a majority disapproves of how President Barack Obama has handled the devastating Gulf oil spill. The word devastating is the exact word used in one poll article I saw. Not exactly Obama friendly don't you think. They could have left it out and conveyed the same message.
    Durn Liburl Media...

There's almost 7 billion people on this planet and, aside from drilling a relief well, NOT ONE has come up with a way to stop this leak.

Though it is encouraging that you think so highly of President Obama that you would have the expectation that he would be the one to come up with a solution...
    Yeah...I'll follow up that LOL...

Do a quick search of all the major media outlet websites...Oh yeah...its just front page stuff isnt it? And the network evening news? You cant get away from the stuff! WHy...the president has been just on top of this since day one...

Nah...whats true LOL ROTF LMAO funny is that you would actually make that claim.

And really...just how many attempts have they made to truly CLOSE the well and end the leak? what...in all this time...2? 3? Every effort they have made hasnt been to close the leak...its been to CONTAIN the flow so they could capture the oil.

And my point still stands. YOu would have envirowackos and every lib chaining themselves to the fence of the white house demanding the presidents head if it was Bush. With 'Him' the Obots have a million and one reasons why the president cant do anything...why...its not even his job...

OK...and Bush COULD stop Katrina from hitting, COULD have raised NOLA above sea level, COULD have rebuilt the levees, COULD have made chocolate Ray nagin actually spend the 12 million they received on a disaster plan that didnt include, sorry bitches...you are on your own...Im taking my chocolate ass to Houston...Bush COULD have forced the LA governor to order an evacuation and COULD have forced the LA governor to mobilize the guard and reserve in the state...etc etc etc..

Mind you...the left didnt expect the same response from Clintons FEMA...that they did Bush, and surely not from "The One", but why let a little thing like honestly get in the way when you are a pure partisan hack?

    Your awesomeness failed

You were in effect complaining the government issued the lease for the well, making the government responsible, well the government also issues building permits for housing, should not that make the government responsible for the house as well,
