Glenn Beck launches online University

It's not a REAL college, soccer. There are no credits given.

I understand that. It is just then it isn't a real university than either. It is just Winston brought up a point I haven't thought of that it isn't really I university. I was just spit balling ideas on what it really is. That is all.

It's a circle jerk for people who think Glenn's semen has magical powers.

Review of Glenn's new endeavor on Reason.com:

Beck U - Reason Magazine

The author corrects some of Glenn's historical details:

Interestingly enough:

Ah, but Reason Magazine writers and editors are just shills for the progressives, right?

ROFLMNAO...

Sweet Mother, Reason Magazine has ALWAYS been a flaccid member of the Leftist body...

It's a propaganda rag of the Anti-theist Left... Nothing more or less. The stark irony is that the chronic bemoaners of 'Logic and Reason' are rarely, if ever found employing such.

For instance, how cool is it that the asserted 'corrections' are advanced without any evidence... AND the simple fact that Venona became public knowledge in the mid-80s with the release of several books on the subject. One written by a former British MI-5 operator, the title of which and the author's name escapes me at the moment; and another by former FBI agent Bob Lamphere in his book: FBI/KGB War... and so on.

What's more, Beck isn't 'teaching' at Beck U... the lectures are provided by various and numerous academics and historians.

Libertarians are leftists, in your world? I want some of the good stuff that you've been smoking.

No... Leftists are Leftists... even when they deceitfully claim to be the antithesis of that virulent ideology.

I want Leftists to have the lie removed as an option, so we can finally enjoy some peace and quiet. If I get my wish, I'll cut ya in, for yours.

I appreciate how you critique Reason for providing zero sources while providing zero sources yourself. That's awesomely funny.

I'm just more interested in additional scholars, rather than three individuals. One of my favorite lecture series is by a conservative Straussian by the name of Thomas Pangle regarding the constitution. Aside from the fact that it is a cheap subscription model (very smart choice on their part), Glen U is far too small to be of interest to me just yet, and far too likely to tred on a path complimentary to Glenn's programming, of which I am not much of a fan.

More or less, I am perhaps a traditional neoconservative with some slight adjustments, though it was never my intention to be thrown in with that label, but perhaps it applies to me, perhaps it doesn't. I'm just knowledgable in the outlook. As an individual, I am just me, and it doesn't necessarily conform to the label. I'm rarely in agreement with libertarians, mainstream conservatives or the Democratic Party base.

For some reason, that line literally had me laughing so hard my chest hurt. Quality parody there.

Well, let's see... the OP declares reason Magazine as a sound resource; implying that such is objective and trustworthy. I pointed out that their position regarding Venona is patently false.

Now an objective resource would not attempt to play such patetic semantics... But given that playing pathetic semantics is the sole tactic of the ideological left... it's a fairly simple equation to find that the author's are Leftist.

Again, I've read Reason for years... It's primarily a rant fest for the addled-minded anti-theist.

You're entitled to your baseless opinion; just recognize that like most things Leftist, baseless opinions aren't worth much...

So basic math tickles your funny bone? You must have a gas at the grocery store...

The problem is...Reason is a more credible source than you (anonymous internet guy) or Glenn Beck. But thanks for playing.

What sources do you trust, PI?

There was no math in the quote I posted....

To PI, everyone but him is a leftist. It's more of a diagram. There's a tiny little circle, that represents him. And, a ginormous circle that contains all the leftists in the world. I.e, everyone else.

We need to hook him up with NP.

It's a rare progressive that is much of a fan of Beck.

BTW: LOVED the 'traditional Neo-con' thing... it was a PERFECT match for the droll 'I don't conform to labels' rant...

HYSTERICAL! In at least two contexts and on several levels...

The "Tea Party" isn't a political party and has nothing to do with the right to vote and Beck has a "University" that isn't a university.

It's supposed to be so serious that in a 100 years it will be looked back on as the turning point in our country.,but the misleading names are for the LULZ.

I guess Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert better get their own insider subscribers.

I'm just saying I do not know what I am, guy. You can cut out the really enthusiastic political commentator gag too. It gets old when you have seen it for a decade and realize it gets annoying trying to picture that guy talking to you about it in real life. I prefer not to talk to someone who speaks like a cartoon character. Later.
