Well like many have said the question is about the truth of the story. If its true people should be fired and I hope he sews, if not he should be fired.
PURE STUPIDITY 1.) Glenn Beck doesnt lie. 2.) Obama is Jesus like 3.) Sara Palin is so smart & shes a great speaker. 4.) Obama does just about everything perfect. 5.) Fox doesn' t lean right 6.) Pro-Choice is no different than Pro-Slavery 7.) MSNBC doesn't lean left. 8.) What TSA does is no different than sexual assault & child porn.

Yes, but why did he do this?
Has he not heard of DADT?
Does he think this only applies to the military?
Will the WalMart union back him up??
Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus, and there is a need for unions.
If people could behave themselves, the union need would go away.

You really believed this happened? In that heart of the Bible Belt, Las Vegas NV naturally.

    From the article:

A Las Vegas man who held a temporary job at Walmart says he was stripped of all his responsibilities and made to wear a yellow vest after telling his manager that he's gay.

Fernando Gallardo has filed a complaint with the Nevada Equal Rights Commission claiming that his boss at a Vegas-area Walmart confronted him about his sexuality, and then began treating him rudely and alienated him from co-workers after learning Gallardo was gay, reports The Advocate.

"I was completely ignored and shunned," he wrote in a complaint to the rights commission. "I had nothing to do all day but wander around the store wearing a yellow vest no one else had to wear, much like Jews had to wear a yellow star of David in Hitler's Germany."
This is the most far fetched, implausible story I've heard in quite some time.

More likely, the guy was hung over from all night clubbing, and the boss caught him jacking off while looking at gay porn on his iPhone.

I think it depends on the area though. Up where I'm from, there's a big strip of boutiques right in the village, along with some large supermarkets/drug stores/etc. a mile or so outside the town. About 15 miles away is the big shopping area, where there's two malls and a huge long road with a bunch of different "strip mall" strip malls all along it. In one of those strip malls, Walmart opened a store. It hasn't affected any of the other stores in the area as far as I can tell, as it's just one of a few dozen big box stores in the area.
We are infested with Walmarts in this area as well.
They are just another , maybe less corrupted, big , and useless department store....a little of this a little of that....
PepBoys is much better, in the automotive arena, bit WalMart can beat their prices, I think.

Every time I have ever been in a Walmart, I got the compulsive need to scrape off the bottom of my shoe when I came out.

As to the rest, I understand what you are saying. However, I think those events where larger stores put out smaller competitors happened a little more gradually. Further, those smaller competitors likely ended up becoming suppliers for the larger mom and pop and neighborhood grocers and such. When Walmart moves into a small town, whole blocks of private businesses go under.
Walmart cannot begin to approach the service and selection, and sometimes, the price, from our two local hardware stores(Ace Hardware)...
Walmart is just another "a little of this a little of that" over-sized department store; but they do carry blue jeans..
I'd like to see a service union at WalMart.

I can't hate on Walmart, because the greeter at mine is a paraplegic. There are numerous severely handicapped people working in the aisles. The world can be a cruel place to the handicapped, and I'm always happy to see folks like the greeter, who clearly loves talking to people, given a chance at a job that many would say he shouldn't be able to do.

Yeah, the last time I went to Walmart (and the only time in the last 15 years) I was helped by one of their government subsidized wheelchair bound employees. He was the rudest asshole I had run into for a long time.
