Of course, that's not as widely reported as it would have been if things didn't go well, but there were people paying attention.
I think my eyes were opened to the double standard a while back discussing things with Tashah, as well as yourself and others on this board whom I repsect and who have what I consider to be rational views of things.I do however think that in every bad thing there's a good thing, and I find that more and more people are opening their eyes to the double standards towards anything that Israel does due to this incident.
One of the things that has changed for me somewhat since I signed up to DP is that I now tend to wait for all of the facts to become available to me before I make an opinion about Israel's actions. I try not to jump the gun on things anymore.
I admit that two years ago, I would have probably been very critical of Israel over the flotilla thing from the start. After all the facts had come out, I would have had to admit that I jumped the gun on my criticisms. Being a member here at DP has changed my approach to things for the better.
