I would rather have people we elect rule over us then have corporate business rule.

Ahhh... no. You are presenting a position of punishment.

You're right and were NJ not in such a dire state of events... you'd continue to be correct. I just think at some point, either the state goes bankrupt or we vote someone in who has to do something difficult. I'm still not cynical enough to think that the majority of citizens in NJ will punish Christie for doing what he stated he would do, and for the reasons he's doing it. The state wide school votes just this past month prove that Christie has the backing of a majority of people in this state. IF he continues to do what he's doing - he'll be rewarded because a door knob knows we cannot raise taxes on people stressed for decades with high taxes, during this economy, and with a 33 billion dollar budget deficit grown over decades.
I think if Thomas Jefferson were looking down, the author of the Bill of Rights, on whats being proposed here, hed agree with it. He would agree that the First Amendment cannot be absolute. - Chuck Schumer (D). Yet, Madison and Mason wrote the Bill of Rights, according to Sheila Jackson Lee, 400 years ago. Yup, it's a fact.

    Seems fairly simple.
Most people seem to support him given the state wide voter rejection of school funding last month.

    Also very simple.

This was not about supporting Christie. It was about NOT supporting the idiot teachers unions who didn't agree to salary freezes. Even Christie, when supporting the rejection of school funding said this.

Rejecting the teachers unions does not necessarily equate to supporting Christie.

OK. If that makes you feel good.

I'm just curious. Why do you feel the need to challenge folks on intelligence? I've seen you do this before. We know you are a bright guy. There happen to be a lot of bright people on this site.
