I call her and let her know when I'm pulling up so that she can tell the kids I'm here. At that point it's all they can do to keep from falling over themselves to leave.

If I'm told not to enter, and then I enter anyway, that's my bad. If I invent delays, try to start fights, start braking ****, that's all on me. You have a right to defend your home. If it were my home and some armed asshole came in and started smashing the place up, I'd go for my weapon and 911. Lord help us all if that armed asshole hid a hand and started threatening to use a gun. I know what I would do, but bullets have a funny way of bouncing off of things, even bones. Not good in any situation, especially when children are present.

Dude, you should try to get primary custody. Sounds like you might have grounds; talk to a lawyer.

Not every gun owner agrees with all of the NRA's positions. You're just assuming that, say, owning a rifle for skeet-shooting means that someone shares the view that background checks, gun registries, mandatory trigger locks, and 30-day wait periods are a bad thing. There are plenty of gun owners like my father who don't view any of those things as infringements on their rights, and would never *want* to join an organization like the NRA.

yes there are deluded gun owners who think by allowing the scum in the brady bunch and the Dem party to ban "assault weapons" will somehow appease those turds and their skeet gun will be safe. There are also gun owners who don't want the poor, or blacks or Jews, or hispanics etc owning guns

anyone in favor of a thirty day waiting period is probably too stupid to own a gun.

The fact is almost all the laws the dems promote and the NRA opposes have no use in making anyone safer but are designed to incrementally eliminate gun ownership

I saw Olympic Gold Medalist (84) and world champion Matt Dryke -USAMU-shoot skeet with a 22 rifle at one of the olympic trials but he was shooting low seven and most of us who were Master class could hit that target with a 22.

He hit more than he missed on a full round--that guy had more talent than anyone I ever shot against--(I retired before 08 Gold Medalist Vince Hancock showed up)

too bad-that is what one would consider a target rich environment.
