Someone is calling out Obama for his lame foreign policy. He is so destructive to established allies and this blog post doesn't even mention Britain or France. Obama is dangerous.

Last week was a really bad week for nations that are friends and allies of America. Three nations that have long been close friends and allies of America received humiliating treatment from the Obama administration.

Israel...

Poland...

Honduras...

Alienating three close allies in one week is quite a trick, even for a president as inept in foreign policy as Barack Obama. However, it fits a pattern. President Obama has never shown any understanding for the basic rules of foreign policy which include cultivating allies, avoiding unnecessary friction, and doing one’s homework. These things happen because Obama is fundamentally uninterested in foreign policy. It is part of a pattern that began when Obama was elected to the Senate. In 2007 his party made him the chairman of the Senate subcommittee on Europe so Obama could claim foreign policy experience for his presidential run in 2008. Yet even though Obama’s committee had oversight of such vital issues as the U.S. relationship to NATO and the EU, Obama never held Senate hearings and his committee contributed no reports or played any role in setting policy. Few senate committee chairs have ever shown less interest in the work.

In his career in the Senate and as president, Obama enjoyed his foreign trips when it is all about him – such as receiving the Nobel Prize or basking in the adulation of the Euromasses. But rarely has a president had so much foreign travel with so little substance to show for it. So far, Obama shows no talent for learning on the job – so America’s friends should brace for more weeks like this one.

I think that's right, but it's actually a bit worse than that. Not only is Obama mostly uninterested in foreign policy, but his instincts are bad because at bottom, he doesn't believe in advancing America's interests. Moreover, perhaps because of his own jaundiced view of American history, he seems to be instinctively contemptuous of people and nations that are pro-American. The results of Obama's foreign policy are therefore worse than could be obtained through sheer laziness or disinterest.

Only if the goal is to tear this country down to 3rd world status, then he would be rated above Jimmy Carter.

This is literaly astonishing how completly void of direction his foreign policy is.
He has no convictions other than he is peace minded with out being goal oriented or having a clear grasp of history or our enemys Motivations or their
aspirations.Has he ever said a bad thing to anyone who wasnt our ally?

A military coup in Honduras, so how did he insult the Hondurans? By helping a president that was voted in by the public. The US should not accept the removal of a elected officials by undemocratic means.

Israel deserved what they got for not stopping the settlement building.....

Poland I thought you right winger where all about saving money that is why he canceled the missile thing. Yet again he canceled the trip to the Volcanic ash that covered Europe.

Since when are we friends with any Central American country? They're our own experiment in right wing dictatorships and coup d'etats. Seriously people, I know the OP has zero understanding of history but at the very least Google Honduras. People from Honduras know us as the country who supported their caudillos, the murderous Contras and the American foreign companies who enslaved thousands of indigenous Hondurans in Banana plantations. This lie about how Obama is 'insulting' 'close' allies is quite telling of just how 'moderate' the OP really is.

I stopped reading it when he said that Israel had boycotted the nuclear summit held by Obama, when in fact they did sent a delegation, only their PM didn't show up. Clearly if he's willing to manipulate the facts regarding that event I can't trust him on Poland or Honduras.
