Politicians lie. What amuses me is people still like Obama and that the Bush defenders don't realize that by bashing Obama's lack of transparency, they are indirectly doing the same to a president they defended over his lack of transparency.

So, no. I personnally didn't blame GWB for everything that went wrong in this country during his presidency...only the thing I could point directly at him as his responsibility - the Iraq War!

History will show the effects of Obama's presidency - how good or bad things really were and where blame should lay. Until then, I'm fine with letting history play out because so far, every action taken seems to be baring fruit.

The banks, as well as, GM have paid back large portions of their bail-out funds. States are starting to take advantage of Stimulus money to provide jobs (even part-time, particularly over the summer for tourism and summer jobs programs), the economy is getting better, companies are starting to re-hire. So far, everything seems to be coming around pretty much as the Messiah as foreseen. (Couldn't resist the sarcasm there. )
    Corrected and bolded for accuracy.

Bush also said that he was not a nation builder.

Hey, give Obama a break. I KNOW it's the most transparent administration in history because I can see right through it. LOL.

Interesting. I wasn't aware the US was a monarchy and the president had the sole authority to authorize a war without congressional consent.

Ah so your post was a way for you to segway into your typical bashing of bush supporters.... I have an idea. Perhaps we should concentrate on the topic of this thread and not supporters of a previous administration.
