So these were really homophobes, so they must have been Republicans.

Oh wait, this is a pic of the couple attacked.

Well, now we know the liberal talking points anyway.
Good job. You really took all those liberals that were thinking about using those liberal talking points to task. Serves them right. Don't let the fact that no one has argued that point disparage you. Fight the good fight.

On a side note, chocolate cake is WAY better than yellow cake, in every way. Period. Don't even try to convince me otherwise.

I see you didn't read the article I posted or you wouldn't have written that, would you?

The article simply pointed out what was in the police report. Nothing else. They called the girl a "blonde *****" and the guy a faggot. How does this support what you said about liberals taking this out on conservatives?

"Alas, then things started going down hill. The New Orleans police denied ever saying anything like that. And now the actual police report has come out which not only contains no evidence of any partisan political intent but actually says that the assailants yelled misogynistic and homophobic epithets at the victims while the attack was taking place.

There's no proof the assailants weren't anti-GOP protestors. There were protestors outside the GOP event the two had been attending, though most had apparently left by that point. And it's possible that some of them circled back to attack attendees. But this one looks like there's not much evidence if any that politics played a role in this one."

This is why the internet is such a detriment to truth. It spreads idiot rumors so much faster and easier than before.

The system where elites decided what was reliable or not and chose what to print (in a thing called a newspaper) were much better.

Especially in NOLA, it's the biggest union area here. People seem to forget that this state has been heavily progressive/Democrat since the late 1800's. While we did swing red recently, there are still quite a few areas that are solid blue.

Not as a group anyway. Everyone has nutcases, but the right is pretty well behaved here.
