Does he? Perhaps this is just another McCain panic, which he mastered so well in the '08 election. The selection of Palin and his "campaign suspension" stunt were two needless "hail-mary's", each of which was (mis)played early in a quarter (instead of the traditional time of a hail-mary, when time is running out)

... I am not impressed with his judgment. IMHO, America made a wise choice not electing him president.

Plus he crashed like five airplanes. You'd think after the first two or three they'd stop giving him one.
He touched her over her bra and underpants, she says, and guided her hand to touch him over his underwear

    Mccain denounces his Maverick persona

At least he is finally beginning to side with the right part of the Republican party, instead of the Neocon faction.

EDIT: I still believe that, had McCain chosen a Paleocon instead of a brainless twit for VP, he would have won.

Another way to look at it, is that this is the way the people feel and, as always, McCain is following where he needs to go to get elected.

And also when he sided with the left on so many issues. His ass must chafe from straddling that fence so long.
    Thank you
