Could someone name one of the Christian values that the country is founded on?

I think we should just start with if anyone knows what a uniquely Christian value is. I can't think of any value that Christians preach that hasn't been taught already by other religions.

    Yes.

Christianity is the largest religion in the United States, with 76% of the population identifying themselves as Christian. About 62% of the population are members of a church.

Protestant denominations accounted for 51.3%, while Roman Catholicism, at 23.9%, was the largest individual denomination. The study categorizes white evangelicals, 26.3% of the population, as the country's largest religious cohort. Another study estimates evangelicals of all races at 3035%.

Christianity was introduced to the Americas as it was first colonized by Europeans beginning in the 16th and 17th centuries. Today most Christian churches are Mainline Protestant, Evangelical, or Roman Catholic.

    1) There's roughly 250-300,000 Christian Churches in America. That sure is a staggering amount of Churches for a "non-Christian" dominated country don't you think?

The Freemasons are the most powerful organization in the world(whether you wanna believe it or not). And the Freemasons are dominated by Christians. All religions are welcome but it's a Christian organization, and you must believe in a God for membership. The Freemasons are also the most influential organization in America and have been since day one. Look around at all the government land marks in Washington, and tell me what you see. Christianity has always been ingrained in the US government. But at the same time America welcomes all religions, and that's the best part about this country. The sole reason the founding fathers injected tolerance of all faiths is because they knew it was the easiest way to achieve peace amongst all denominations of all religions, and they were right! There's no other nation like this in the world that has everyone living in peace, worship, and harmony amongst one another. All of this was made possible through Christianity. Christianity will always be the foundation of this country and government.

    2) Various Masonic bodies require a statement of Christian faith to one degree or another. Some Masonic rites vary in their requirements depending on the jurisdiction, these include the [York Rite] and the Ancient & Accepted Scottish Rite (aka the Ancient & Accepted Rite) as practiced in England. Other Masonic bodies require an affirmation of Christian Faith in all jurisdictions. These include (but are not limited to) the Rectified Scottish Rite, the Swedish Rite, Societas Rosicruciana, the Royal Order of Scotland and the Red Cross of Constantine. Additionally, there are numerous Masonic orders and degrees that while not specifically requiring a profession of faith, require that potential members belong to one or more of the bodies which do and as a result limit their membership to professing Christians (e.g. the Commemorative Order of St. Thomas of Acon, the Holy Royal Arch Knight Templar Priests, the Knight York Cross of Honor (KYCH), the York Rite College, etc.)

Of the first 108 universities founded in America,

106 were distinctly Christian, including the first, Harvard University, chartered in 1636.

What's the biggest holiday in America? Christmas.

Why does the Islamic extremist of the world want to convert, kill, or conquer America? Because we are a Christian nation governed by Christian values.

You all have proved me wrong on one thing. I do have something in common with the Muslim world, and that is...We both agree that America is a Christian nation.

Well, I think it's pretty safe to say that a majority of Americans are Christian. That being said, I don't think that makes us a Christian nation.

The code of hummarabi has the same tenets in it. Those arent exclusively christian besides those come from the jewish faith. You could just as easily claim we are a jewish nation.

Those are also the values of almost every other religion in the world.

In fact if you were to ask which religion most strongly believes in those two rules, I would say Buddhism. Since we seem to be a nation founded on Buddhist principles, does that mean we are a Buddhist nation?
