And....when is there only one option? Like....poor parents who can't afford to send their kids to a private school so they have to send them to the crappy public school in town that has burnt-out teachers and corrupt administrators? That's the first thought that came to mind when you said "only one option".
Because like 90 some odd percent of our 'founding fathers' were Christians does not make this a country "founded on christian principles"... it makes this a country "founded by people... who happened to be christian."
Because 70 some odd percent of Americans 'claim' to be christian does not make this a "Christian Nation" it makes this a country that ... happens to have a lot of Christians living in it.
One question though,
W T F is the significance of this, honestly?
Is it one of those touchy feely things for you people or what?
If there wasn't anti-trust regulations there would only be one option in lots of sectors. Standard Oil comes to mind. In many places people don't have a choice in who they get their electricity and natural gas from.

"To waste, to destroy, our natural resources, to skin and exhaust the land instead of using it so as to increase its usefulness, will result in undermining in the days of our children the very prosperity which we ought by rights to hand down to them."~ Theodore Roosevelt (Message to Congress, Dec. 3, 1907)
