The committee has $9.46 million in the bank and already likely won't be able to offer the congressional committees and GOP candidates the sort of financial help they have in the past. If social conservatives — the core of the party base — withhold contributions, the RNC's money problem could become far worse.

I am shocked. Evangelical leaders urging their followers to stop giving money to the RNC? No foolin'?

Hell, they better keep doing it. God knows we libertarians won't receive any money from the Bible-thumpers.

It really does kind of suck. Hollywood liberals bankroll the Dems to do these kinds of things without a second thought. It's a double standard, but what can you do? Somewhere out there, at any given time, Streisand is giving a concert to help fund abortion clinics in California.

I think it is great.

Its gut check time for the GOP.

Eiter repeal Obamacare, or face the consequences as a party.

I know if they don't do it, I am through voting altogether. No need to vote for the GOP if they can't stand for something other then Liberal-lite. If they go along with Obamacare, what becomes the difference b/w the DNC and the GOP?

Answer: Nothing.

So you're not going to vote for the Republicans until they repeal health care reform but they can't repeal health care reform unless you and a lot of other people vote for them. Kind of a Catch-22, don't you think? Not that I object, but, perhaps you would care to clarify your feeling about this.

No, I will vote for them in November, but it might very well be my last time ever to vote. Depending on what they do, once in the majority. I will be calling my guys here to see what their plans are. If they tell me straight up they won't be repealing it, then I won't vote in November.

This violates one of my bigger axioms in life: If you don't vote, you don't bitch.

When you vote, even if your vote is considered cosmetic and impacts little or nothing, you have sacked up and stood tall to tell America what you believe. And if everyone had that attitude, things would really change. For a national presidential election, if even half of the eligible voting populace actually did vote, it's considered a success. If a better, more honorable number of people voted, America could really become "of the people".

Chicken and egg sort of problem. To fully repeal HR3590, the GOP needs a 60-seat senate majority and a majority in the house, as well as the presidency. (I'm assuming Democrats would filibuster any repeal attempts)

They aren't getting that without a crapload of funding, and as some of the helpful provisions kick in, removing them is going to be extremely unpopular. Imagine the counter-ads. "Republicans want to kick your children off your health insurance plan due to pre-existing conditions."

Grow up sunshine, most everyone hates the idea of this healthcare reform Bill, but I can promise you one thing.
No matter what they say in the run up to the November Midterms, no matter what they promise, they can swear they are telling the truth on their wives /Children / Grandmothers lives.

If they get elected they will never repeal this act, shucks they won't even try.

The best they can do is try to make it less expensive or one other thing they can do that would be universally popular (except to those in the House & Senate) make it applicable both as to cost and benefits to all electorate in USA.

Did you ever bother to wonder why they absented themselves from the compulsion of this 'Healthcare'?
